The Tournament of Blades (Private rp with Abbster)

"You did well. I'm sure you'll place well when they announce the results." Cass says. Unlike with jousting or sword fighting where there was a clear winner, the rankings for dressage were based more off of a point system where points were awarded for how the horse and rider performed together. But the results for that would need to be announced later on.

[Abbster]

"Thanks" Kennadee said with a smile. "When's your jousting?" Kennadee asked Cass as they walked back towards the arena. She knew it was soon, but when it was, Kennadee honestly had no idea. She had a feeling that Cass would be performing soon, but then she realized something. Why hadn't Gale gone yet? Kennadee shrugged off the thought and knew he would go soon anyways, all she hoped at the moment was that she placed in the dressage round.

"Soon... I've got to head to the stables soon to get Bayberry ready." Cass says. She knew that Gale's first round was set to take place right after hers. She was fairly certain that he would be jousting as well. He'd need to get his horse ready after her round had finished.

[Abbster]

Kennadee nodded. "We'll be routing for you" She said. Kennadee knew there had been a bunch of other riders for dressage before her, and they were all incredibly good. Kennadee had also been good, but she didn't know if she had been good enough to win or if someone else had won. Kennadee smiled. "Doesn't matter to me how I did in the dressage" She finally said. "Got to think about other things besides weather or not I won"

"I appreciate that. I should probably head to the barn now to get Bayberry ready. As far as whether or not you won, definitely don't dwell on it too much. You know you performed well and that's all that matters at the end of the day." Cass says. At the end of the day, the tournaments were about showing one's skill, not completely about winning. One could be skilled and still not with every tournament they entered.

[Abbster]

Kennadee nodded. "Come on, Gale" She said. "Lets go sit down and watch the jousting" She said. Kennadee headed back to the arena, her thoughts filled with weather or not she won. Of course she couldn't think about that at the moment. At the moment, she had to focus on the tournament itself. Kennadee knew she could do that. She had seen Cass practice multiple times before, and she was amazing when it came to jousting. Kennadee had no doubt about that.

Cass makes her way over to the barn and leads Bayberry out of his stall. She already groomed him, so she would just need to get him saddled and into his armor before she donned her own armor for the joust. She wasn't sure who her opponent would be, but she would find out once she was in the arena.

“How do you think she’ll do?” Kennadee asked Gale. “I already know she’s going to be absolutely great.” Kennadee said. “When do you go up?” Kennadee asked Gale.

"I think her chances of winning are good. She's always favored swords, but I know she knows how to use a lance to her advantage as well. And she usually knocks me off my horse when we practice together." Gale says. She was able to stay in the saddle quite well on top of that. It made it hard to caused a forced dismount against her. "After this slot" he says.

[Abbster]

Kennadee chuckled. “Id pay money to see that” she said, laughing. “I know she’s going to do great” Kennadee said. “She always does amazing. I’ve seen the way she can joust. It’s incredible”

Gale chuckles in return. "I'm sure you would. But you probably won't have to pay for that. I'm sure you'll see it happen at some point" he says. Cass would likely be getting her own armor on by now since the joust was set to start soon.

[Abbster]

Kennadee laughed as well. "I know." She said. "But I do want to see her beat you at jousting before the tournament is over, thats for sure" Kennadee said, laughing again. "Do you know where you and Cass are going next?" She asked

"I'm she'll be willing to show you if you ask her. Maybe tomorrow we'll take a shot at it." Gale says pausing. "I'm not sure to be honest. We've both lived here all our lives. But maybe it's finally time to spend some time on the road" he says.

[Abbster]

Kennadee nods. "Well, if you do leave, do you think I could come with you guys?" Kennadee asked. "Like I said, you two are the first real friends I have." She said. "It would be nice to spend some time with my friends, travel with them, ya know?" Kennadee asked. She didn't know where this came from, but what she did know, was that now she had friends, and she didn't want to loose them.

"If we do wind up leaving then I don't see any reason why you couldn't come with." Gale says. He would have to discuss matters with Cass first before they decided for certain what to do. He knew she had aspirations she wanted to achieve. But perhaps she could better see to those elsewhere.
