“Very well, glad we are all in agreement then,” the man said, “I will say, we have certainly started off on the wrong foot upon our earlier meeting, I am called Darius,” he turned and began walking deeper into the forest, “she is this way.” Lockian started his horse into a walk watching the tall man closely. He led them first over a narrow, half frozen stream and then up a steep slope of rocks and loose dirt that was covered now in snow, it was an old landslide. Finally they reached a sort of cave, the entrance was two rocks leaned against each other with an opening that was narrow, but but not so much that a horse couldn’t fit through, though only one at a time. “She’s through here,” Darius said disappearing inside.

"You'd best be telling the truth." Caesy mutters as she follows behind Darius. Her hand was poised, ready to draw her sword if this proved to be a trap of some sort. She wasn't about to trust this man blindly. He had given them no reason to believe that he would be true to his word. But for now, she was willing to give this a chance. Hopefully it would prove fruitful and they would be able to return the girl safely to her waiting father. He had to be worried sick about her by now.
