Phantom

The black wolf stalked through the trees. She was able to sneak through the shadows. Her ears lifted ever so slightly at the sound of rustling. Her mouth watered as she saw two hoppers within view. She locked eyes on them and slowly crept towards them. Phantom then jumped through the air and landed on one, killing it with her paw, and then giving the other one a bite to the neck. Both went limp. Phantom's eyes glowed as she picked up the prey in her jaws. She gazed around and then trotted back to the camp. She deposited the fresh kill on the fresh kill pile and then gazed around. She couldn't see her alpha anywhere. He was most likely in the off-duty den with his mate. That was where he spent most of his mornings.

Viron

Viron was heading towards the prey pile he would need to eat before he could head out and scout out the area that was a huge concern for them, he passed by Aritja who was laying down in the shade her tail lazily flicked, "Hey Aritja how was the hunt this morning" he asked the smaller she wolf who had been the first one back from a hunt, he would sit down and clean his paws getting rid of some small thorns that were stuck in his thick pads, well he waited for Aritja to speak to him about the hunt, he didn't quite know much about Aritja other then she was smaller then most of the pack members and was a really good hunter despite her smaller size.

Arijta 

Arijta would look up to see the scout Viron he looked ready to go out and scout but she could tell that his one paw was starting to hurt, "The hunt was okay Viron I caught some rabbits but do you know where the alpha is I would really like to bring some prey to him and the luna" Arijta asked the scout well aware of how much bigger he was compared to her, "I think there in the off duty den but they probaly don't want to be bothered maybe you can leave it by the entrance" Viron said to her as  she then got to her paws and walked over to the prey pile with Viron following her, she grabbed a decent sized crow and a rabbit off the prey pile and walked off towards the off duty den, she noticed the pack healer was just outside the entrance as if guarding it, she dropped the two pieces of prey just outside the entrance and talked breifly to the healer, "Could you please make sure the alpha and luna get these healer" Aritja asked the pack healer who looked at Arijta slightly confused, "they have asked me to not let anyone see them this morning but I will make sure they get the prey Arijta you can go back and rest" the healer said to Arijta who then turned around and walked back to the pack's sunning rocks, which every pack member was allowed to use, however the hunters prefered to use it in the morning as they needed to rest for the big hunt in the afternoon.

Valor

Valor would nuzzle her foal "You can play if you want to just don't go to far out of my sightline" Valor said to Nexus noticing how upset Riptide had looked when Nexus had said no, she knew that Nexus stayed close to her because he was nervous around the other foals but still he would need to get to know his herdmates as they were now a part of the herd, Valor then thought back to the last words Archer ever said to her "We will start a herd and this little foal of yours shall be the first of many my lead mare," it hurt Valor a little knowing that Nexus would never meet his father and play with him, but maybe it happened for a reason one which will make sense sometime soon Valor thought, as she went back to grazing on the grass her ears constantly reacting to every little hoof step or breaking of a branch but she was relaxed for now as Bandit and Firefly didn't seem to sound any alarms to tell them to run, the wolf pack to the northwest so far had left them in peace but how long would it last she wondered, eventually the peace between them would break and who knows what would happen to either of them once the uprights started to take away more of there safety.

Orca

Orca would gallop after Britz keeping pace with the colt but always adjusting her speed to intercept Britz to tag him, she then stopped seeing Riptide "Sure you can join our game the more the merrier" Orca said to Riptide having no issue with letting the golden colt join there game, she gently nudged Riptide "You are it and don't worry I won't go too fast" Orca said to Riptide before she galloped away after Britz keeping her pace slow so the colt could easily keep peace, she was pretty good with the younger foals however she did prefer to play with foals around her age as they were easier to play a bit rougher with, however she did make sure to be gentle around the younger foals and always keep her speed at a steady pace for them as they lacked the stamina to run long distances.

Drail

''Of course my mate. That is my wish as well,'' he said sincerely. He looked around then back down at Arctic, ''I should get to my patrols,'' he said with sadness in his voice, ''but I will return as soon as I can,'' he promised her. After licking her face and muzzle a couple of times he left the cave. He noticed the crow at the entrance of the den. The healer explained it was from one of the younger hunters. He nodded once, appreciating the gift. ''You may bring it to my mate, she shall need all the sustenance she can get at this point in her pregnancy.''

Arctic

Arctic nodded in understanding. "alright." She said, licking his muzzle in return as she attempted to get herself more comfortable with her giant belly. Noting she did worked. Arctic heaved a huge sigh and lay her head on her paws as the healer came trotting in. She dropped the crow at Arctic's paws and Arctic lifted her head. "thank you" She said. The healer nodded and sat down a few feet away as Arctic began to devour the crow.

Nexus

Nexus shook his head and once more pressed against his mother. "I wanna stay with you, mama" Nexus said, as he looked around the herd nervously.

Riptide

Riptide smiled at Orca. "Yay!" He said. "Thanks" He looked around and thought about his first target. Well, getting Orca would be the obvious thing to do, but she had just tagged him, so that wouldn't be very fair. He spotted Britz near by and he raced for him. Riptide went as fast as his little legs could go as he raced for Britz. "I'm gonna get you!!" Riptide squealed, as he neared the older colt.

Britz smiled brightly as the younger colt approached, ''sure you can play,'' he announced. He and Orca could play on their own any time, but it wasn't too ofter that the younger colts and fillies were allowed. Britz adjusted his speed accordingly and playfully cantered around Riptide, ''oh no your not,'' he said with a smile, then suddenly he felt the furry nose bump his flank, ''wow you are fast,'' he said,'' but now I'm going to get you back.'' He galloped after Orca and Riptide, suddenly touching both with is muzzle.

Riptide

Riptide let out a squeal and then he turned in surprise. "Hey! Is that allowed?" He asked, looking at Orca. Riptide didn't exactly know the rules of tag, except for you get tagged, you tag another horse, if you're not tagged you run. "I didn't think we could tag two horses at once!" he said, looking confused.

Bard

Bard approached the the Alpha just after he had exited the off-duty den. He could feel nervousness shaking his limbs but hoped that it wasn't visible, he didn't know why he was so afraid, Alpha Drail was not a wolf one had to fear, but it was just the way he was. Bard bowed low. Drail looked down at the scout, ''your report,'' he asked quietly knowing the young scouts fear. ''A-all c-clear,'' Bard managed to stammer out. Drail nodded. Bard immediately stood up and zipped into the forest. Drail looked after him, sighred, and kept walking.
In the forest Bard stamped his paws angrily, ''why do I have to be such a weakling,'' he asked himself aloud while kicking up dead leaves with his paws.

Viron

Viron would take a rabbit from the prey pile and walked away towards a secret spot he had found when he was just three years old, he then ate the rabbit and left the rest for the vultures to eat and pick away at, he rose to his paws and spoke to the border guards at the far end of there territory near the lake that once used to be a part of there territory, "I am heading out to scout the area nearby the lake I will be back by dark" Viron said to the border guards who after talking with each other let him pass by them to do his job, he started the walk towards the lake his nose,ears and eyes were constantly looking for any threats hiding nearby, his fur bristled as he smelled the harsh tang of smoke in the air but it was not fresh he guessed it was a couple of days old, however he did notice a big metal contraption on the ground it had large metalic teeth on the inside this was defintly worth reporting to the alpha as this told him the uprights were becoming a much bigger threat, he continued to check out the lake seeing more of the odd metal contraptions layed on trails leading to the lake, he decided that this was enough to take back to the alpha but before he could react a piercing pain struck his shoulder he let out a yelp as he limped off into thicker brush to hide and see if whatever had struck him had belonged to uprights, he must have waited for a good fifteen minutes before he heard a weird screamy type voice "I shot one ...but the darn thing ran off I would really like to finish this off and end his suffering" the voice said, he then heard a slightly deeper voice "Leave the wolf Bernie he ain't worth it besides I saw a fox run that way" said the other voice.

Firefly

Firefly gazed up as she heard squealing. She smiled and nudged her mate. "look's like our little colt has found some friends." She said as she nuzzled her mate. Bandit looked up and his eyes glowed. "well would you look at that."

Arijta 

Arijta would wake up seeing the other hunter Phantom she raised her head looking at the black she wolf, she looked proud maybe her hunt had been just as successful despite the noise from the weird uprights, "Hey Phantom how was your hunt this morning" Arijta asked the young wolf well she cleaned her paws getting rid of any debris caught between her claws, she noticed a thorn stuck between two of her claws she slightly winced as she pulled the thorn out and then licked the area clean, she had not noticed the thorn until now, so it was highly likely well she was out hunting the rabbits or as some pack members called them hoppers that she had stepped on a thorn without realizing it, but luckly it had only drawn a tiny amount of blood and would heal pretty quickly on it's own without needing to see the healer as long as she kept it clean and free of debris.

Phantom

Phantom looked up from the rabbit she was eating as Arijta spoke to her. "it was good! No problems with uprights, or the horse herd. Then again, they never come in the forest so I don't know why we worry about that." Phantom said with a slight chuckle
