Ganges snarled at the way the Shepard responded and stood pulling harshly against his chain, ''if I weren't tied id show you to talk to me like that,'' he barked. Standing to get as close to the other dog but they were still several meters apart. He looked back to find the panther dog staring at him, he found himself feeling more than uncomfortable, perhaps going on disconcerted. The pale and utterly soulless eyes borrowed into him and the pointy canines caused him to feel cold suddenly, despite the hot New Mexico evening. But still his young heart thrilled within him even as he suddenly felt himself cower, a little. He tried standing straight and puffing out his narrow chest as much as he could. He wanted to show his hero dog that he, Ganges, was just like him. But the black dog got pulled away quickly. The young wolf became angry with the humans and barked and barked at them, even releasing a few high pitched howls, ''if only I weren't chained,'' he said viciously under his breath.

Kali skittered to the side as the chain whipped by her, letting out a nervous growl deep in her throat, and prompting a sneering bark of a laugh from the man behind her. Her ears pinned as she moved forwards again, just wanting to get away from him. As she did, barking and snarling echoed from the cages outside, and she looked over, her eyes catching sight of a lithe pale doberman, a female, she realized with a strange twinge of connection. The dog was being dragged towards the same barn she was, away from a glowering man who was holding his arm in a tight grip. Her head was high, and Kali was distracted from the evil whirling of metal behind her for a moment. That dog she could tell had strength, and yet still poise. She, no doubt like herself, would rather not be forced into such a horrible occupation. And then the tall dog disappeared into the yawning dark mouth of the building. She was approaching it as well, and moments later she stepped into it, the stench hitting her nose as she whined deep her in throat. "Get moving you Goddess of death" the man said with a scornful laugh. She growled again, yet couldn't make herself turn, as the chain stayed behind her. It was true, her name had been chosen with the assumption it would strike fear into the competitors hearts... and it had for a few years, but now her name did not dictate her actions. And never would it again. Turning a corner, the cages loomed up, a long row of endless wire doors, the cramped wooden crates thundering with snarls and growls and thuds of dogs slamming themselves against the sides. She whined again, then moved down the line. A sudden glimmer of something dark ahead made her blood run hot, and her muscles freeze. She stopped stock still, eyes trying to pierce the dark cages. Was that... could it be...a vicious menacing snarl rose in her throat as her hackles bristled. But before she could affirm her suspicions, the chain suddenly clanked into her back with a painful thud. She let out a snarling yelp, leaping forwards. The man used her momentum to swing her into a cage, unatattching the chain and slamming the door shut in one swift motion as she whirled, suddenly throwing herself against the door, her adrenaline fired up from the sight of those pale eyes in the dark cage. If it was who she thought it was...she would do anything to get that fight.

Revenge sat, stood, laid dow, sat up again. Had his cage been just slightly larger he would have been turning in circles. He was not scared, not by a long shot, in fact by this point he was become excited. He teeth were just itching to come in contact with dog's flesh, his was drooling with the thought of blood. A part of himself was cringing at the way he was acting but he couldn't control it, now all he wanted was to fight... and win. He knew it was going to be soon... very soon. The last bets were being placed and onlookers were beginning to assemble at the ring. The huge bear dog pounded the cage door with his head a few times and scratched his claws at the floor. He joined for a while in the chorus of barking that never actually ceased. He happened to catch sight of the panther dog, he knew him, though not personally, and thankfully they had never been tangled in any fights together.. but that could change any day. Revenge was momentarily subdued by this thought but the sight of his owner and trainer readying his leash and casting glances in his direction started him up again. He wanted to fight.

Varkado would let out a chorus of loud barks as Armone unhooked him from the post, they were getting ready to enter the ring he stood right beside Armone in his fine suit looking anything but a big tough fighting dog at the moment, he looked at Armone who always talked to him before a fight "You will do fine my freind the only thing you have to fear in the ring is nothing" Armone said as he started to walk towards the ring with Varkado following him, Varkado heard a snarl coming from a dog he could not see but he did not react as all his attention was on Armone and the ring they would soon enter, he was not sure who Revenge was as it was the first time he heard that name at all, in fact many of these dogs were unfamiler to him as he had never seen them or been in the ring with them before, he would have to learn there style of fighting in the ring were they fast and nimble or slow and calculating in there fights he wondered, as they got closer to the ring he noticed a fairly large Cane corso was just ahead of him probaly a small fight to get the spectators rilled up for the main fights which were coming up.

Ecoris would let out a loud growl at a german shepherd that was to her right, they were also a female but Ecoris knew her far better then any of the other dogs her name was Reyela and Ecoris hated her for killing one of her daughters in the ring, "You want to start something with me cupcake say it to my face in words not growling" the german shepherd said as they growled back at her, they had a cold look on there face that reminded Ecoris of her master Ebony who she hated just as much as Reyela, "Who let you in here Reyela..that's right I remember you...pup killer" Ecoris said as she opened her jaws displaying all of her teeth, her ears fully back as she looked at Reyela all of her memories of watching her oldest pup die beneath her teeth made her so full of rage she could not think straight, the german shepherd looked at her "Oh so scary ..please honey your teeth don't scare me, hmm maybe I will kill another pup of yours I heard Razor is fighting" Reyela said as she turned away from Ecoris no longer intrested in talking with her or trading words like poison in the cages they were forced to be in.

Remo would rise to his paws he could hear his master coming towards him he knew what his master's walk meant he was going to fight but looking at his pace Remo knew it might not be tonight, "This is the great Remo..don't make me laugh Infernius..I thought you were talking about a big old tough pitbull or rottweiler not this fluffy little lapdog" said a person who was walking with Infernius, they seemed to own the pup that Remo growled at but Remo was not sure as they looked fairly young to own a fighting dog or two, he could read his master's expression like a open book "You are blind Tomeriz size isn't everything in the ring surely you have seen dogs of his size in the ring" Infernius said to the man who must be Tomeriz, as he walked up to the young pup who started to let out a weird bark that was halfway between a snarl and a bark at Tomeriz, Remo would ignore the pup and insted focus on his master Infernius, who was a rather scary looking man as he had a lot of face markings and mismatched eyes one was green well the other was a bright piercing blue, but he was actually rather nice to his dogs despite his apperance he was one of the kinder masters that owned fighting dogs, Remo had never seen his master lose it on a dog even if they tried to attack him, he would redirect there attention elsewhere even on some poor training dummies who were often so torn up by the end it looked like the dummy went through a battle.

Muerto's nerves were racing in high adrenaline as he shifting in his cage, almost trembling with the need to let out his pent up anger and thirst. He needed to fight. And he needed to fight soon. His claws dug into the wooden cage floor as he dragged his paw across it, jaws clenched as his teeth ground together, imagining flesh between them. Soon, oh so soon. His deathly gaze moved from in front of him to the side, locking onto a young pitbull pup who was pressed against the other side, her eyes wide in shock as she stared at him. Slowly, his lip curled in a chilling smile. "Snack time's soon" He snarled in an almost serpentine growl. The puppy let out a strangled yelp of terror and pushed herself even further into the dark corner. A low chuckle sprang from his throat, seeming to echo through the cages. Silence surrounded the cages that touched his, utter terrified silence. No one wanted to draw attention to themselves. With a scornful growl he turned back to the front of the cage, taking a single step forward and resting his muzzle against the front, pushing against the metal as he watched, listened, and waited in barely contained impatience. He could hear chains being prepared, he could hear the people assembling, the calling of the bets, the ring being cleared. Oh it was so deliciously soon. He closed his eyes for a moment as a shiver ran down his spine, almost salivating as he waited.

Ganges ran in circles around his post, up until his head was literally touching the hard weathered wood. He then turned around and started circling in the other direction, he stopped to naw on the wood a bit before continuing. His master walked out suddenly and came forward with his leash, Ganges snarled but was rewarded by a hit upside the nose, ''shut yer howler Ganges,'' the man said harshly as he undid the chain and attached the lead. The young wolf's tail moved awkwardly back and forth with excitement. The fights were going to start! He wondered if Muerto was going to be first. Probably, since he was the best after all, Ganges thought. He trotted glibly beside his master until the entered the ramshackle building. The man stopped at the back of the crowd, he was never a people person. The frustrated Ganges and he pulled on the line to try and get closer, but to no avail. He sat down with a huff, this WAS NOT, what he wanted.

Hearing all of the chaos that was going on outside, from the barks and snarls of the other dogs to the cheers and curses of the humans, Blyke stands up in his cage, noticing that someone was coming over to him. It was his handler, Joseph. "Alright, Blyke. You're up, and you had better win this one," He says, pulling out a short, leather lead. He growls a bit, stepping back, as the cage door was opened, and the lead clipped on. He wanted nothing more, than to tear his handler's throat, since this wasn't exactly the most glamorous lifestyle, that he had. Muscles rippling beneath his black and rust colored coat, he walks along the rows of cages, full of snarling, snapping dogs. He wondered, as he got closer to one of the adjoined arenas....just who his opponent would be. As he gets closer, he could see that his opponent, was a fairly well muscled pitbull, its coat a melding of different shades of brown, with specks of black. He recognized this dog......it was Miles. He had fought this dog before, but every so often, Miles would keep coming back. "So your handler still hasn't learned his lesson. You can't beat me," He growls, through his large, yet well fitted muzzle.

Kali pressed her head against the cage, her eyes shifting from side to side as her breathing only intensified. She had to see, had to know. That beast she had seen just a few cages down, could it be that black plague of a pitbull whom had stolen her mate from her? There was only one way to find out. Watch, wait, listen.... and prepare. Now adrenaline was rushing through her, eagerness, impatience. Not for the fighting or the blood, but for one particular dog's blood, to see one particular dog prone before her, knowing he had made his final mistake. Her jaws ground together with a chilling sound. Unheard were the sounds of bets being placed, of dogs being brought in from outside in preparation. Her eyes were only for the cages near her, her ears only for the sounds of the claws shifting. Suddenly her laser focused attention was shattered as a growl full of utter rage echoed from her left. She glanced over, unable to help herself, and found herself looking in on a staredown between two females, a doberman and ag German shepherd it would seem. The latter looked more ready for the fight, her eyes cold, her smile chilling. The sharp white teeth flashed as she turned away from the other female, who seemed almost fuming with anger. If those two were fighting, it would be a bloody battle. And that turned Kali's thoughts to her own fight. She knew not whom she was pitted against, but the thought of going into the ring with another dog filled her with a sick ache. And once again, she promised to herself, to her unknown adversary.... "I will not kill for blood, nor for anything other than life" she whispered to herself, her nerves calming as she turned her gaze forwards. She was ready. She knew what had to be done to win, and she would do it, but she would not go beyond that.

Varkado could feel the tension in the air it was electric and he liked it that way it made him feel confident, but for some reason he still did not see Revenge unless it was the cane corso which he highly doubted as he had won against plenty of them before in the ring as he waited to see Revenge to size him up, he noticed growling coming from another building on the property but he paid no attention to the growling as it quickly came to a end, he was ready to fight all Armone had to do was get the muzzle and chain leash off of him which was easier said then done as he was not one to stay still once the monster was unleashed inside of him, "Steady Varkado I want you to be calm until the fight" Armone said as he without hesitation reached down to pet him trying to calm him as much as possible for the fight, which Varkado assumed would not be too long away as it seemed like the warm up fight was almost to the end, he could hear the fighting start to stop as the master who it seemed to Varkado won took his dog swiftly out of the ring, it seemed like hours until the second dog was removed he caught the scent of blood both master and dog in the air he could only guess what happened as the fight ended quickly maybe a bit to quickly as it seemed like the people watching the fights wanted more then blood spilled in the ring they wanted a real fight not a mock one.

Ecoris finally noticed another female dog this one seemed rather nervous but was that just a act Ecoris wondered as she watched the female look off into the distance she decided to try and talk to them to be freindly, " umm hello are you new here..I have never seen another female here unless you count that German shepherd I was having a talk with" Ecoris said well looking back at Reyela her ears slightly back as she remembered the pain she went through after watching a pup she had raised die beneath such vicious jaws, "the German shepherd's name is Reyela if you didn't know ..I have history with her not good history she killed one of my daughters in a fight that I was forced to watch as I was fighting next that's what the talk was about if you can even call it that, oh sorry that must sound so awful to you but it's true my name is Ecoris what's your name" Ecoris said as she turned her attention back on the other female dog trying to be freindly to them even though she was still feeling the rage inside her that Reyela showed no remorse for ending one of her daughter's lives in the ring.

Remo would let out a growl he did not like being called a lap dog it was a insult to him as he was not a pet well at least not yet, but being a pet really did not sound so bad to him maybe it would allow him the peace he so desired after his last and possible final fight coming up, "Remo calm down old freind he didn't mean it your more then a lap dog to me your my champion in the ring" Infernius said as he walked away from Tomeriz who was busy unhooking his fighting dog, who if you asked Remo looked a bit young to start fighting but then again what did he know he was just a elderly fighting dog doing a young dog's game he thought as he laid down again, ignoring his master who seemed focused on other things beside him his only fighting dog at the moment, he could not wait to fight but when would it be he wondered as he watched his master quickly vanish into a large building possibly where the fights were being held, he knew that a mistake made in assuming he was not a threat could really turn some fighter's day from good to bad if they dared to under estimate him in the ring.

The cage door was thrown open and Revenge barreled out, but his master anticipated this move and swiftly the two men had the chain wrapped around the dogs neck. Instead of the men leading the huge bear dog, twas Revenge who was in the lead and the others were trying to restrain him from bounding onto the arena. Revenge through his strength into the leash, saliva dripping from his dark jowls and claws making scratches into the already pitted floor. Finally he was in the arena, the men on the outside yet still tightly keeping hold on his chain. Revenge saw his opponent over the tight muzzle tied around him snout, confidence surged through his thrilled heart, he could take this pup down easily. He let out a deadly low snarl, hardly keeping patience to hold him back while the trainer fingered the straps to his muzzle. Revenge heard a man yell something out then a pistol crack. The bystanders surged forward to watch the dogs be released and cheer on the one they had betted on. Revenge suddenly felt his jaws loosened and with a growl of freedom, took a leap at Varkado attempted at grabbing at his fur, he didn't even whimper at an injuries inflicted on his part, this was a fight he wanted to win.

Ganges's ears pricked at the sound of cheering, jeering, and growling, but it didn't sound like Muerto. His master strained to see over the men ahead of him but his odd twisted back would not allow it. Ganges laid down, if Muerto wasn't in it, he didn't want to see it... but his master did. Taking a deep breath the bent man thrust himself into the noisy crowd finally found a spot where he could watch the fight. Ganges had resisted but it wasn't of any avail, he was dragged along. He could hear the vicious snarling even clearer from the position he was now, and he himself lifted his lip in attempt at a dangerous looking expression. He looked back and saw the dog cages, and wondered if Muerto were in any of them, he couldnt tell through the dark grating.
