Jinx
Jinx fiddled with the latch on her kennel door using her height to her advantage she gripped the latch with her teeth and played with it until it swung open she exited the kennel area and looked sadly at her vest she always did like that vest she shook her head and ignored it she reached the stations door and opened it with ease now where can I go she thought this was her life she didn't know any other life besides the life of a k9 now she had to learn how to live in the wilds
Cyrus
Cyrus would open the back gate to the large backyard he moved fine now but his leg still ached he ran towards the dog park trying to figure out where the humans went he was so busy he didn't notice a large male wolf he didn't seem agressive but still best to be cautious he looked at the wolf unsure what to do from here
Lance
Lance looked at the dog he tilted his head unsure what to do he could smell prey but it wasn't as strong as it normally was "What are you doing here dog why can't you go back to your humans us wolves have a hard enough time hunting" he said being direct to the dog he was fustrated so far all he had caught was a young rabbit and a crow not enough to feed his large pack

Int. OPEN
Vidra's tongue hung out of her mouth, her eyes glazed. It had been days since the humans had left, and she was so thirsty.. and so hungry. The sound of dripping water from a faucet somewhere was taunting her, her empty food bowl glaring up at her, having been polished many times by her tongue. Pulling herself up she hearlessly pushed against her cage door. Was it her fate just to die here, never having had a good home, and now trapped in a cage by those hated humans? She was about to give up, but her wolf side took over. No. She wouldn't die. She couldn't give up. Pushing herself to her feet again she pushed her nose against the latch, her dry tongue feeling the contraption. Wait.. was that a lever? Desperately she opened her jaws and bit down on the latch, ignoring the cutting metal. The first time didn't yield any success but she kept trying. Fifteen minutes later, on her twentieth try, it finally creaked open. Her eyes brightened and she stepped weakly out, her ears trained towards the sound of the water. She would live. She just had to reach the water, and find some food.

Jinx was really thirsty and hungry she searched the surrounding area for water she walked into a nice park with a small lake in the middle of the park she approached the lake and lowered her head to drink she would have to figure out how to get food later right now it was important she stay hydrated she could smell another dog this one with a intresting scent it wasn't pure dog maybe half wolf

"I can't go back to my home wolf my human isn't there listen do you hear any humans ..no that's because there gone" he said to the wolf he started to growl at the wolf he was hungry and thirsty no way was this wolf going to stop him from getting water he ran past the wolf and headed for the lake only to see another dog there a female by her scent she had a athletic build to her maybe a police dog

Lance was too shocked to say anything and watched the dog leave he sighed and went back to hunting he wasn't sure what was happening but shouldn't dogs be with humans he reflected on his time in captivity and remebered the smells of the other animals he wouldn't miss his captive life it was a awful time in his life being forced to interact with humans and be seen and photographed he still froze each time he saw a blinding light

Int. Jinx, Cyrus
Vidra pushed through the doors of the shelter, already exhausted just by walking that far. But the sound and scent of the water was getting stronger. Pulling herself onwards she stumbled into a small grassy area, with a glinting tempting lake. Her tongue hanging out she swayed as she fixated her eyes on her salvation, finally getting close enough to flop down. She let her tongue just lay in the water, soaking it up, not even minding that half her head was getting soaked as well. And definitely not noticing the two dogs also near the lake.

Jinx would look at Cyrus it had been so long since Jester died maybe a fresh start is just what she needed "Hello i'm Jinx ..I guess you know I'm a k9 from my build huh?" she said to the sheltie she the looked across from them at the strange wolfdog who would want a wolfdog as a pet she walked away from the shore towards the sheltie

"nice name I like it I'm Cyrus in case you want to call me something" he said well admiring Jinx's coat which was shiny in the sun he hadn't seen very many long haired german shepards and definitly not one that was a police dog "Excuse me Jinx I need a drink" he said as he lowered his head into the water and drank the water was cool and refreshing a lot better then the bottled water he was given to drink
Lance
Lance stopped hunting satisfied with his catch he grabbed all of the prey he caught and was just about to return to the pack when out of nowhere a deer rushed him he let out a loud yelp of pain and was throw into a tree's trunk where he lay temporairly unconcious he wasn't badly hurt just stunned

Vidra's eyes finally cleared slightly, and she raised herself trembling to her legs, lapping the water normally and relishing in the feeling of the cold liquid rushing down her throat and into her belly. And then she noticed the dogs drinking water just a few feet away. She growled slightly, raising her hackles, her amber eyes fixated on them untrustingly.

Emi
Standing outside of the now abandoned firehouse, Emi looks around, trying to figure out what she was going to do, or where she was going. Humans were all she knew, given that she had been born in a human's home, and sent to live at the fire department. Catching an array of many different smells, she begins to walk away from the decrepit building. She wasn't sure where her master was, or even if he was still alive. She, of course, could always go and try and search for him.....but the city was just too big. As she walks down the empty streets, she keeps looking around, keeping an eye out for trouble. The streets just seemed.....so empty, with no signs of life. With her coat, she felt especially vulnerable. If she could just get to a nice wooded spot, she could hide, and maybe find something to eat.

Jinx left Cyrus to drink and walked along the shoreline she could see the wolf dog growling at her and Cyrus but made no move to confront her insted she went into a area that she knew had wild prey she sighed I'm not really good at hunting but i'm too hungry not to try she said to herself she looked at a rabbit it didn't see her she sneaked up on it and killed it swiftly she held the rabbit in her powerful jaws and made her way back towards the lake

Cyrus would hear a loud yelp he wasn't sure what had made the noise it sounded like that male wolf maybe he was hurt he wanted to go investigate but first he had to see why the long haired german shepard ran off he spotted her a few minutes later carrying a rabbit in her jaws "I will eat later maybe try and see if that wolf dog is hungry maybe we can earn there trust" he said before running off in the direction of the yelp he then saw the male wolf laying on his side he was hurt

Lance started to slowly regain consciousness but everything hurt that deer had defintly broken one of his ribs he then saw blue merle fur it was that sheltie dog "Why are you here I'm fine dog just go one of my pack members will find me" he said trying to hide the fact that he didn't need this dog's help he was a wolf after all why did he need a dogs help he thought to himself

Vidra quieted down and flattened her fur as both dogs seemed to ignore her. Walking a few feet away she settled down in the shade by the lake, knowing she didn't have the strength to go hunting yet.

Jinx would walk over to the wolf dog the rabbit in her mouth she dropped it "Would you like this rabbit I caught it myself my name's Jinx btw" she said to the wolfdog there was another scent it wasn't a dog but a wolf nearby maybe that's where Cyrus went she thought as she layed down in the shade of a nearby tree

Cyrus walked away from the wolf he was stubborn and probaly wouldn't accept his help he walked back towards the others he sighed and walked towards the wolf dog he was curious as he had never seen a wolfdog before he stayed closer to Jinx not wanting to get to close to the wolfdog
Lance
Lance whimpered in pain somehow he did wish the dog had helped him the pack wasn't too far away but it would be a while before they searched for him he growled at himself for being so stubborn and refusing help if there was one thing he had to learn was to accept help whenever it was offered

Vidra looked up in surprise as the german shepherd walked over to her and dropped a rabbit at her paws. A softer look came into her amber eyes and she smiled slightly "Thank you, I definitely needed this. My name's Vidra" she said softly, watching as the dog went and lay down beside a nearby tree, the sheltie she'd seen earlier emerging from the woods and laying down beside her. Unable to resist the smell of red meat by her paws, she dug into the rabbit, finishing it in record time and then sighing in relief. Food.. she'd forgotten how good it tasted! Even if it was her first time eating a raw animal, which was kind of strange. She licked her lips to remove traces of the blood, then got to her feet and padded over to the lake again, lapping up some more of the crystal liquid. As a zephyr of wind blew her way it brought to her the sound of pained whimpering, and she raised her head, glancing around the area. It seemed to be coming from where the sheltie had gone before. She took a few steps towards the wood, then paused, uncertain. She still was rather weak.. was it the best idea to go check out some strange noise by herself? Then she snorted at herself. Goodness, here she was part wolf, and afraid to go into the forest alone. With a determined look she stepped forward again, padding into the cool trees as she scented the air to find out who was making the sounds.

Jinx could smell another dog the scent was weak meaning the dog was further away "I'm going to get me and you some food Cyrus I will be right back" she said before running off to the prey filled area she had amazing luck this time catching a large fat crow it let out a frantic alarm call before accepting it's fate she carried it back to Cyrus black feathers clung to her muzzle they kinda were itchy she ate some of the crow and left the rest for Cyrus

Cyrus looked at the half eaten crow part of him didn't want to eat it but he was too hungry to care he started to eat the crow liking the taste of the raw meat he didn't really like the blood but the meat was so good who knew something that was a pest to humans could taste so good he laughed seeing the feathers on Jinx's muzzle
Lance
Lance could smell a half wolf scent a female by the scent he tried to lift his head to bark but everything hurt he had taken a bad wound from that deer how was he going to return the prey to his pack now his prey was scattered from when he was thrown against the tree by the deer he was sure they would notice the damaged prey and think he had eaten some of it

Vidra scented the air once more, this time realizing that it was a wolf! She began trotting along, following the trail. Mixed with the wolf's scent was the scent of meat, which kind of confused her. Slipping through some trees she stopped in wariness at the sight of a large male wolf laying on his side, looking badly injured. Taking a few more steps forward she spoke up, carefully avoiding any foolish questions like "Are you ok" or "Do you need help?" as both of those were obvious. "Is there anything i can help you with?" she asked, her amber eyes meeting his yellow gaze.

Lance looked at the wolfdog "Yes I need help could you gather the least damaged prey I would ask if I could lean on you but you don't seem to strong at the moment" he said to the wolfdog he could smell a familer scent on her it was the scent of humans leave it to them to think everything could be a pet he thought "Oh i'm sorry I forgot to introduce myself i'm Lance" he said to the wolfdog
Jinx
Jinx got up on all four of her paws and went towards the direction of where Vidra went she wasn't sure what to expect but anything could be lurking she walking as quietly as she could following Vidra's scent she almost jumped backwards seeing the wolf he was huge she had never really met many wolves but she knew from experiance they could be unpredictable he seemed harmless though she could see that he was hurt
Cyrus
Cyrus ran in the direction of the far away scent he was positive that scent was familer but why he had to find out why he remembered that scent he ran in the direction of the fire station it was quiet and eerie feeling now that the humans had disappered he was so busy looking at it he banged into a white dog with black spots
