Midnight glanced over at her sister and almost let out a snort of disgust. "whats up?" Specks asked her. "Twilight, is just willing to forgive buttermilk for being in love with Songbird after everything that horses father did to my family." she snorted again. "ok? and?" specks asked. "Spirit hurt me, physically, her hurt my sister mentally. And now she's just willing to let everything slide." Midnight pressed herself into Specks and felt herself start to fall to the ground from exaustion still. Specks lowered himself to the ground with her and nuzzled her as she rested her head on his back. "Seriously though, I don't understand how Twilight can just forget what that snobs father did to our family"
(idk who the father could be, who do you want it to be?)

Rusty looked down at her, eyes softening "I'm glad you want to know more" he said, nuzzling her forelock. She smiled slightly "Yes, well I realized that he might not be just like his father. I'm not saying that I agree with any of this, or that I will after I meet him, but i at least want to know more about him before I decide." she allowed, her face clouding over. "Although one rule has to stand. I don't want Spirit anywhere near our families. And I definitely don't want him touching Songbird. If buttermilk wants to see his father, he can't bring songbird with him." Rusty sighed slightly, but nodded "I understand how you feel, I mean after what he did to Midnight, I wouldn't trust him near our fillies either" he admitted. "Good" she said, nuzzling him again "Now, about Buttermilk..."

(HAHAHAHAHAHHA, it could be Warrior?)
Midnight gazed up and saw Beauty walking towards her. "Come!!!" She begged. Midnight looked up at her filly but nodded. "Dada too" she said. Midnight stood up and Specks was beside her. Twilight seemed to distracted with Rusty right now so she decided it would be best if she just left them alone. She followed after Beauty, Specks was right beside her. "look" she whispered when they came to a stop. It was Stardust with her new love. Midnight felt her ears go flat against her head. She stomped forward. "mama..." Beauty mumbled. "Midnight, don't" Specks said, but it was to late. Midnight was already half way to her oldest daughter. "mom?" Stardust looked at her mother abruptly. "so" Midnight said. "this is your crush?" she asked. Stardust flattened her ears but nodded. "H-his name is Harley" she said. "oh is it?" she asked. Stardust nodded. "Stardust" the stallion named Harley said. "who does this mare think she is?" he asked. Midnights eyes flared in anger. "This mare, is Stardust's mother" Harley took a step back and pinned his ears. "oh...I...I thought she didn't have a mom" that made everything worse. "yea? well she does" Midnight snapped angrily. "MOM! Stop it, please!" she begged. "Beauty" Specks said. Beauty looked at her father. "yes dada?" she asked. "go get your aunt please" Beauty nodded. She turned and galloped towards Twilight. "Aunt Twily" She called, continuing to run towards her aunt and uncle. "AUNT TWILYYY!!!" She called louder.

Rusty was just beginning to tell her about Buttermilk, who seemed a shy, thoughtful type of stallion, almost the complete opposite of his father, when Beauty came racing up. "Woah Beauty, what's going on?" Twilight asked, quickly getting to her feet.

Beauty was breathless by the time she reached her aunt. All she managed to say was. "mama...met...Stardust's...crush." she pointed with her tail to where her mother was. "that way." she flopped down on the snow beside her uncle, who let her lean against him until she caught her breath again. Midnights eyes were flaring. "how could you not tell Harley that you had a mother??" Midnight demanded. Stardust glanced at her father and then her mother and back again. "it...it never came up" Stardust stuttered. "so he just thought that I was dead?" Midnight demanded again. Harley nodded. Midnight's tail was flicking back and forth in anger as her daughter nuzzled Harley.

Twilight's eyes widened "OH" she said simply, understanding in a flash. Quickly she raced off in the direction Beauty had gestured, soon arriving on quite the scene. She slid up just as she heard the last comment, and her ears pinned. She could see Midnight's tail swishing in anger, and she knew the next step usually was either yell, attack, or run. Quickly trotting up to her, she nuzzled her calmingly. "Stardust, who is this?" she asked in a calm tone, turning her eyes to the stallion.

"Why are so many mares here???" Harley demanded, taking another step back. Stardust let out a breath of relief when Twilight showed up. "Aunt Twilight" She nickered. "This is Harley, Harley, this is my aunt Twilight." she said, stepping forward to nuzzle her aunt. "please please PLEASE get mom under control" she almost begged. "I understand why she's upset, but she acting crazy" Stardust said. "Im so sorry Harley" she nickered again, giving him a big hug around the neck. "Aunt Twilight, please. She will explain everything that happened, but shes about to yell, I know my mother, by look of her ears, eyes, and tail, she's going to yell any second" Harley looked confused. "yell?" he asked. "at who?" Midnight glared at him. "AT YOU!" She snapped. "why?" he asked. "what did I do?" Midnight narrowed her eyes into slits and she glared at him more, anger flaring in her eyes. "You fell in love with my daughter without me being here." she said, her voice angry link harley, I cand add pictures of the horses agiannn yay |

Twilight gave a reproving glare to the young stallion at his tone, then turned to Stardust. Nuzzling her back she nodded "I know honey" she said softly, turning as Midnight burst out angrily. "Hey, Midnight, you know that's not fair. You can't have expected our families to put EVERYTHING on hold for us! Imagine if it had been us! Would we have pushed away Specks and Rusty? You know the answer" she said, but her tone was gentle and soft. "I'm not saying that they did everything right, but at least hear them out. Learn about Harley before you make a decision" she said softly, nuzzling her.

"Fine" Midnight said slightly before she looked at Harley again. "What in the Stars of Epona is going on??" Harley asked, looking very confused. Midnight flattened her ears, and this time so did Stardust. "Harley" Stardust said taking a step towards her mother. "please don't say that" she said. "why not?" he asked. "because...my little brother died when he was 2 days old and my entire family is sensitive about it" she explained. "oh, im so sorry, I didn't know" He said, stepping forward to give Midnight a nuzzle. She stepped back from him and turned her head away. "its alright" she said. "but now that you do know, don't say it unless something is really going on" she said, tears starting to roll down her face as she remembered the day her sweet Freckles died. She pressed her head into Twilights neck and the tears flowed onto her sister. Stardust felt tears stream down her own face as she thought of her little brother, she left Harley and walked over to her mother, nuzzling her lovingly.

Twilight's ears pinned as well and her eyes flashed as she looked over at the young stallion. Harley was treading on thin ice, and he didn't need to keep making it thinner. Nuzzling her sister, she enveloped her in a deep neck hug, pulling her close as tears dripped down her cheeks. Poor Midnight, so much going on, and Freckles had to be brought up. But they all knew he was happy now, not that it made the pain any less real.

Specks stomped forward, eyes flaring, ears pinned. "Harley" he said. "Specks" Harley let out a breath of relief. "I didn't mean to upset Midnight" he swore. "I know." Specks said. His voice was calm, but pain was in his eyes. "I think all of us here can agree that you can't see Stardust for the rest of the day" Harley looked at him with shock in his eyes. "But" he started. "I'm sorry Harley" Stardust said. "But my dad is right. I don't want to see you the rest of the day." Harley pinned his ears back. He turned and walked away, sadness glazing in his eyes. As soon as he left, Stardust burst into tears. "Why did he have to bring up Epona?" she almost wailed. "I miss Freckles so much" Stardust pressed herself into her father and soon Midnight regathered herself and shook her mane. "Lets go back to Rusty and the others" Midnight said, pressing herself into Twilight as they walked

Twilight listened quietly to the exchange between father and courter, nodding in mild agreement. It was a fitting reminder to him of who was really in charge of him and Stardust. Nuzzling Midnight she nodded gently and turned with the others, heading back to their families. "Well.. that went well" she whispered wryly to Midnight, glancing over at her.

"I suppose" she muttered, her ears still flat. When they got back, Beauty stood up and galloped over to Stardust, who was still leaning on Specks crying. "What happened?" She asked. "Freckles was brought up" Specks said, nuzzling his youngest daughter and then looking back at his oldest who was begging to calm down. Beauty settled herself down in the snow and started rolling around until her black coat was now white. "Look!!" She said happily. "I made a horse angel!!!" Midnight looked at her and she let out a small laugh

Twilight nickered softly, nuzzling Midnight again. Reaching the others, she glanced around for Rusty, but he didn't seem to be anywhere in sight. Probably off finding Stardust. A light laugh from Midnight made her turn, and she chuckled herself at the white coated filly.

Beauty stood up and shook the snow off, covering her mother and aunt in flakes of snow. "BEAUTY!!!" Stardust laughed, shaking her own pelt when tiny flecks of snow landed on her back. Beauty let out a laugh and pranced around. Suddenly an ear splitting shriek rang out through the herd. Midnight knew that shriek anywhere. "that's mom" Midnight muttered slightly. "Specks, watch the girls" she said, signaling to Twilight that they run to there mother. Midnight pinned her ears in fear as she ran towards her mother, Twilight directly beside her.
(what should be wrong?)
