Twilight sighed, then gave a slightly rueful laugh "If only i could eat for you" she said with a slight grin, then nuzzled her again.

"Oh trust me, I wish" she said with a sigh. Beauty came trotting back over a while later. "they wore me out" she said with a giant sigh as she flopped onto the grass. Midnight laughed. "You need a nap?" Midnight joked. Beauty looked at her mother. "actually, yes, that sounds really nice." she said, closing her eyes and falling asleep. Midnight looked at her surprised, then she looked at Twilight. "i was joking." Midnight said. "she hasn't taken a nap in ages. Oh no...is she sick??" Midnight suddenly felt very worried. If her daughter was sick, then she would have to take care of two weak fillys.

Twilight nodded, still feeling worried. She glanced up as Beauty trotted over, chuckling slightly, then looking surprised as her niece flopped down and fell asleep. "Oh, well she probably did just get tired out" she reassured Midnight. "I doubt she's sick"

“What if she is sick???” Midnight asked, beginning to go crazy. “Twily, if she’s sick…how can I take care of Nightlight, myself, and beauty???” She asked, her voice starting to shake. She pressed herself into her sister and just sat there for a moment. “If she’s sick….you’ll help me take care of her…right?” Midnight asked her sister. “I’m sorry I’m so worried for nothing. She just never takes naps…or at least she used to when she was a filly…but not anymore.” She muttered

Twilight nuzzled her sister "Hey, you know i'd take care of Beauty if she was sick" she said gently. "And you're not worried for nothing, it's a mother's job to be worried" she said with a slight smile. "And yes, if she is sick, then I know quite a few horses in this herd that would be willing to take care of her."

Midnight smiled and nuzzled her sister in return. "thanks" she nickered softly, watching Beauty as she slept. "can we have Rusty look over her anyways?" she asked. "I just want to make sure she's alright." Midnight said, knowing her sister was probobly right. She wanted a second opinion anyway and having Rusty or Starlight or Oreo check on Beauty would make her feel a lot better.

"Of course" she said, looking around. She didn't see him in the area. "I'll have to go look for him, or find Nutmeg to look for him. Will you be ok for a few minutes?" she asked gently.

Midnight nodded. "I'm here" Stardust reminded her, laying down beside her mom. She nuzzled Beauty. "Aunt Twily...she does feel a bit warm." she said worriedly. Midnights eyes glazed with anxiety as she gazed at her sister. "Twily..." Midnight muttered nervously. "hurry, please" Specks looked at her. "whats going on?" he asked. "Specks" Midnight said. "Stardust says beauty feels a bit warm." Specks pressed his muzzle to her body. "she's right. I'll go find Rusty." he said, rearing and galloping away, calling Rusty. When he found Rusty, he skidded to a hault. "Its Beauty" he said. "she feels very warm"

Twilight frowned worriedly, nodding and taking a step away, about to go find Rusty. Suddenly Specks came over, then reared and raced off to find him instead. She moved back to Midnight and stayed standing, nuzzling her gently. "It's ok, Rusty will be here in just a minute" she said reassuringly.
Rusty looked up as Specks raced up to him. "What..." he started to ask then frowned and nodded. "let's go" he said shortly, turning and heading back the direction specks had come from. Reaching the others, he moved to Beauty and touched her gently with his nose.

Midnight looked up when Rusty arrived. "is she ok?" she asked. Nightstar lifted her head and looked around. "its ok" Stardust said to her little sister. She curled up around Nightstar. "it'll all be ok." she prmosised nuzzling her. "go back to sleep." Nightstar shook her head. "no?" Stardust asked. Nightstar shook her head again. "what is it?" she asked. "are you hungry?" Stardust asked. Nightstar nodded. Stardust looked at her mother, who sighed and stood up. Nightstar tried getting to her feet, and with the help of Stardust, she got to her feet and stumbled over to Midnight, where she bent her head and began nursing. Midnight allowed her to nurse, but she was to preoccupied with Beauty at that moment

Twilight looked over worriedly as Rusty pressed his nose against Beauty's side, then frowned. He turned to Midnight as she stood to let Nighstar nurse. "As far as I can tell, it's nothing too serious, I think she just has a small fever" he said reassuringly. "I can go get some herbs from Starlight to bring her temperature down" he added. Twilight let out a sigh of relief. Oh good, a fever was really not that bad. "Don't worry, I'll take care of her until she feels better" she said, smiling over at Nightstar who was hungrily nursing.

"oh thank goodness" Midnight let out a breath of relief. "so she's going to be ok." Midnight nickered softly, turning her head to nuzzle Nightstar. "Thank you, Twily." Midnight said. "I don't think I could take care of a weak filly, myself, and Beauty all at the same time." she said, nuzzling her sister. Nightstar finally finished nursing and she managed to lay herself down again. Midnight smiled and bent her head to graze. She would need to get her strength back and eating was the best way to do it.
(ok, so i play starlight, do you want to play nightlight or oreo? i can play both med horses if needed, but idk if i can play nightlight as i have so many charcters)

Twilight nodded with a smile "of course" she said, laying down beside her sleeping niece. It would be best to let her sleep as much as possible. She glanced over as Nighstar lay down after a few moments, turning to nuzzle her gently with a big smile. She was getting stronger for sure!
Rusty turned and cantered slowly back to the herd, glancing around for Starlight. Finally seeing her, he let out a light whinny, slowing as he approached. "Beauty has a small fever, and I was hoping you had some herbs in stock for her" he said.
Nutmeg had been tearing around with the other fillies and colts for hours, staying ahead of them all as usual, but finally she had to flop down. The others came cantering up and flopped down on the grass as well, giggling with laughter. "Nutmeg, can't you let one of us one for once?" a filly said as she lay down beside her, bumping her with her nose and grinning to let her know she was joking. Nutmeg laughed and tossed her mane, glancing over them like a queen above her subjects. "Well then, if you insist, maybe i'll let some of you beat me sometime, Aspen" she said grinning at the filly. The grey dappled filly snorted, then rolled onto her side to rest in the soft grass as the others did the same. Nutmeg was aware that Beauty was no longer around, but figured she'd gone back to see her new little sister.
Songbird and Buttermilk were grazing a little ways off from the herd, she thinking about her new niece. The poor thing, but at least she'd survived!! That was a big deal. Raising her head, she glanced towards where her family was with a slight sigh. Buttermilk came over, nudging her gently. "Hey, she'll be fine and so will Midnight" he said reassuringly. She smiled up at him, pressing her head into his neck and leaning against him for a moment. "I know.. but i can't help worrying" she said softly.

Starlight looked up. "yea, sure" she said. "Oreo has just started foaling so she will be gone for a few hours." Starlight said, getting the herbs for a fever. "Come back if it worses." she said. "oh, and hows little Nightstar doing?" she asked.
Stardust paced around nervously. Harley looked at her. "whats up?" he asked. Stardust looked at her mate. "Everything" she said with a sigh. "Beauty has a fever, Nightstar is getting slowly stronger, and mom...well...I don't know." she said, looking at her mother. "She just looks like giving up." Harley looked at her. "don't say that." he said. "especially not in front of your mom and your aunt." Stardust sighed. "im sorry." she said. "I know she's not, but I can't help being worried." she said with a small sigh.
( Beauty's bestie will be a filly called Ember)
