Rusty's eyes widened "Oh!! that's amazing!" he said, happy for their old herd healer. He took the herbs gratefully, nodding, then sighed slightly "She's doing better, but still pretty weak. Midnight's being really good about pushing herself to graze though" he said.

Twilight's ears twitched as she heard Stardust talking with Harley, catching something about giving up. She looked over at Midnight, who was slowly grazing. Well that didn't look like giving up to her, if that was what they were talking about.

Nutmeg rolled back over onto her feet, tucking her hindquarters over her as she grinned at her circle of friends. Well, they weren't all her friends, but most of them were. There were three fillies, not including herself, and four colts. Beauty wasn't around, but Aspen was beside her, still resting on her side, and Ember was a few feet away. "Hey, Nutmeg, didn't you get another little cousin?" a sturdy young stallion by the name of Echo question, also rolling to his hindquarters, his flaxen chestnut coat shining in the bright sunlight as he tossed his golden mane out of his eyes. Nutmeg smiled at him, slightly shyly. It was no secret among the fillies that she tended to act shy around the young stallions, and especially this one. "Yeah, her name's Nightstar!" she replied, one ear pinning slightly as she heard Aspen quickly sit up, and could basically feel her grin burning into her coat. She turned and glared slightly at her bff, widening her eyes in a motion of denial. The grey filly merely grinned again, then began rolling from side to side, twisting herself in the soft grass. "Aspen, you're gonna get grass stains all over your coat!" a higher pitched voice whinnied from beside her. She paused and glanced over, upside down, at the chocolate brown colt to her right. "Chill, Darak, it's not like i can't wash them out later!" she replied with a relaxed grin. The young stallion snorted slightly, then suddenly lay down and began rolling as well, shooting a grin her way. Nutmeg giggled at the two, still feeling a bit shy as she could still feel Echo's gaze.

(yep, next drama set incoming!! I mean.. they're over a year old now, and that's when Twilight and Midnight started. Gosh, i love each set i make. Oh and that makes two more characters for me haha. I did leave out two other colts in the group, although i'm totally fine rping those ones as well! Give me a whole bunch of young fillies and colts MWAHAHAHAHA!!! xD Oh and what does Ember look like? Blood bay? Chestnut?)

"I know" Nickered Starlight. "I just hope everything goes well...I mean...I know it will but everything that happened to Midnight...it just worries me, thats all." Starlight said. "these should bring her fever down, like I said, come back if she gets worse." Starlight called after her brother in-law. She turned back towards her herbs when Oreo came trotting back. A small dapple gray colt struggling to keep to his mothers side. "Oh Oreo" Starlight breathed, nuzzling the little colt. Oreo smiled and nuzzled her little colt.


Ember went trotting over to Nutmeg. "I'm going to go find Beauty, I'll catch you guys later" She said, trotting off to find her best friend. She saw Stardust, Beauty's older sister grazing beside her mate a few feet away from Midnight, Beauty's mother. "Hi Stardust." Ember said. Stardust looked up. "Ember" Stardust nickered. "what a surprise." she said, nuzzling Ember. Ember smiled. "I was just wondering if Beauty was going to come back to play" she said. Stardust shook her head. "Sorry, Ember." Stardust said. "Beauty's isn't feeling very well right now." Stardust said. "oh..." Ember muttered. "well, ok. Let me know when she does feel better." Ember said, cantering off to go back to the other fillies. "Nutmeg" Ember said. Slowing to a stop. "Stardust said Beauty isn't feeling well." she said, going over to her older brother Harvest who was a few feet away. "Just thought you should know" Ember said.

(Ember is a chesnut, her brother Harvest, is a darker color bay)

Rusty nodded "It worries me as well" he said seriously, then turned and cantered back to his mate and her sister.

Twilight looked up as Rusty came cantering over, some herbs in his mouth. "Here's Rusty!" she said softly, glancing over at Midnight. Rusty came to a stop in front of Beauty. "We'll need to wake her up to chew these, they will help bring her fever down" he explained as he placed the herbs on the ground.

Nutmeg glanced over at the chestnut filly and nodded "Ok! Let me know where she's at when you come back!" she called after her, then got to her hooves and shook out her mane, bits of grass tumbling from her coat. Aspen sprang up beside her, Echo and Darak getting to their feet as well after a few seconds, shaking their manes also. "Let's wait for Beauty" Nutmeg suggested, glancing over at Echo, who nodded, his amber eyes on her. "Sounds like a good plan" he responded with a toss of his head and flick of his tail, glancing in the direction the filly had gone. Darak sidled up to Aspen, frowning, although a grin was playing over his muzzle. "What did I tell you? Grass stains" he remarked. Aspen glared over at him. "Oh yeah? Where?" she asked, twisting to examine her coat. "Right there" he said, suddenly reaching forward and nipping her mane. "OH you didn't!" she squealed as the young stallion bolted, racing around to hide behind Harvest. "Don't let her get me!" he whinnied, peeking out in time for Aspen to nip his rump very lightly. "YOWCH!" he neighed, leaping away and dashing over to Echo, who glanced over at him with an amused look. "Dude, you started it" he said in a calm tone. Darak huffed, but stayed silent as Aspen sent another glare his direction. A few minutes later, Ember cantered up to them again. Nutmeg was disappointed not to see Beauty with her, then frowned as she heard the news. "Oh, I hope she's ok!" she said, slightly worried. Beauty really didn't get sick that often at all. "I'm sure she's fine, she was probably just running around too much this week" Echo spoke up with a ghost of a smile in her direction. Nutmeg blushed deeply and let her head drop slightly, her forelock hanging over her eyes as she nodded "Probably, but still, I hope she's ok" she said softly.

(decided not to add another colt. So the newest group is: Ember, Harvest, Aspen, Darak, Echo + Beauty and Nutmeg ofc)

Midnight stood up again and paced nervously around Beauty. When Rusty arrived, Midnight lay back down and woke up Beauty. "huh?" Beauty asked grogilly. "you have a slight fever, so Rusty has brought you some herbs to make you feel better." Midnight explained to her filly. "you need to eat them." Stardust piped in. Midnight shot Stardust a greatful glance. Stardust knew how much her mother was going though, and she knew she needed some help. Beauty sighed. "ok" she mumbled, licking up the herbs. "can I go back to sleep now?" Beauty asked. Midnight nodded. "just so you know, Aunt Twilight is going to be taking care of you while you don't feel good." Midnight said. Beauty nodded sleepily and then went back to sleep.

Ember raced around her brother. "Can't catch me" she teased. "Ember, please be careful" Harvest said. Ember bumped into him playfully. "I know" she said, continuing to run around him playfully. Harvest tossed his mane. "alright, thats it" he said. "I'm it!" He reared up and started chasing Ember around. "ahhhh" she squealed. "noooo" she ran around trying to hide from Harvest, she turned around a second later, and he was gone. She saw him chasing after Nutmeg now instead. "NUTMEG! RUN!!" Ember screeched. Harvest was gaining onto Nutmeg, when he was close enough, he bopped her on the butt. "got you" he said gleefully

Twilight smiled encouragingly at Beauty as she tentatively, and sleepily, ate the herbs. At Midnight's words she stepped forward and nuzzled her niece. "Yep, i'll be right here beside you" she said, laying down beside the warm filly.

Rusty gave a relieved sigh then walked a few feet away and began grazing, keeping an eye on Beauty.

Nutmeg grinned as Ember began teasing her brother, finally getting him to start chasing her. Suddenly she scrambled out of the way as Harvest did a 360 and charged after her. "HEY!" she squealed, thrusting herself forwards, but he had already gotten a headstart, and was able to catch up and bop her. She huffed slightly "Well, enjoy it while it lasts" she said with a glare at the others who were grinning delightedly, well except Ember, at the fact that she'd gotten caught. She broke down with a grin as well though when she met Echo's smiling gaze. "Ok, well now I'M it!" she whinnied, charging towards Echo. He gave a surprised neigh and quickly pivoted, racing away from her, his strong muscles pushing him over the ground. She flattened herself out, hooves lightly gliding her over the grass as she sprinted after him, catching up in a few seconds and nudging him, breathlessly laughing "Gotcha!" she said, quickly adding "No tag backs!" and backing away slightly. He skidded to a halt and turned, a mischevious glint in his eye. "Hmmm when was that a rule?" he said in a pretendedly confused tone, then charged towards her. She squealed again and spun away from him "Not how the game works!" she said as she turned sharply and he whooshed past her. Quickly she made a bee-line back to her friends and ducked behind Aspen. "Echo's forgot how the game works!" she whinnied with a shy grin over at him. Aspen looked down at her, grinning as well. "Hmm or maybe he just forgot on purpose so he could tag you?" she said with a glint in her eye. Nutmeg blushed deeply at the implication, glad Echo hadn't heard THAT.

Songbird opened her eyes and shifted to her own feet as Buttermilk nuzzled her. She'd honestly almost fallen asleep leaning against him. She felt so safe and secure with him! Which was why she had to wonder... why was it taking him so long to take the step she was yearning for? Softly touching her nose to his she dropped her head down to graze silently. He did as well, although he seemed a bit nervous and jumpy still. Maybe he was just worried about Nighstar? Probably.

Harvest laughed and turned running away from Nutmeg. He caught up to his little sister who looked at him. "whos it?" she asked. "Nutmeg" he answered breathless. Ember poked her head out from where she was hiding and bolted when Nutmeg was making her way towards her. "NOOO" She squealed playfully, trying to get away from Nutmeg as fast as she could. She turned and fled in another direction, making Nutmeg go in circles. Ember tossed her mane and laughed. "Can't catch me!!" She mocked Nutmeg, laughing again.

Beauty coughed and rolled over. "I don't feel good." she said. Midnight looked over at her daughter. "I know." Midnight said. "but Rusty will keep giving you the herbs you need and Aunt Twily will take care of you." she promised, felling her daughters pelt. Her body felt warmer. She gazed at Twilight. "she's warmer" Midnight muttered

Nutmeg looked over as she heard Ember ask who was it, and grinned, charging towards her. The tricky filly kept changing directions, and it took a bit for Nutmeg to get the hang of switching leads that fast. "Wanna bet?" she whinnied breathlessly, sprinting forward in a burst of speed, slowing down as she reached her friend and giving her a half strength headbutt. "GOTCHA!" she said with a grin.

Twilight put her muzzle against beauty's forehead and frowned, glancing up at Midnight. "I know.. I think it just takes a bit for the herbs to go through her system" she said.

[Abbster]

"NOOO!" Ember neighed. She laughed, and turned, heading for Echo. "I'm coming for you Echo!!" She said, charging towards her. She started gaining speed, and was nearing Echo. Ember tossed her mane slightly and got closer to Echo with each step, then she tagged her on the side. "you're it!!" Ember said. "no tag backs!!" She turned and raced towards her brother

Midnight sighed. "what if something's seriouly wrong with her?" Midnight muttered

Echo let out a chuckle and attempted to escape, thrusting his stocky body forwards, muscles straining, but the quick filly caught up with him too quickly. He grinned as he spun around "ok fine, we'll play your way" he said, glancing over at Nutmeg as he said so. She quickly ducked behind Aspen again. "Darak, it's your turn!" He said suddenly and leapt forward, charging towards the dark brown young stallion. "HEY!" Darak squealed, leaping forward and racing around Nutmeg and Aspen. Aspen giggled as she watched Darak fumbled around a turn, looking quite panicked. A couple seconds later Echo caught up and strongly headbutted him. Darak let out a large grunt "Bro, not cool" he said, gasping for breath. "Cummon, if a filly can take it so can you!" Echo chuckled, nudging his friend then trotting back to the others, glancing behind him. Darak took a few more moments to regain his breath then suddenly raced towards Harvest.

Twilight smiled reassuringly "I'm sure it's not, Rusty said it was just a fever" she said, nuzzling her niece again.

Ember laughed playfully. She glanced towards Beauty's family, but there was still no sign of her friend. Harvest came up behind his little sister. "you're worried about her." he said. Ember nodded. "what if she's really sick, Harvest?" Ember mumbled. Harvest pulled his little sister in for a hug. "I'm sure she's fine, but if you want, we can stop playing for a bit so you can take a rest" he suggested. "I'd like that" Ember said, laying down next to her brother. She nuzzled him and felt warm against him.

Midnight looked at her sister. "ok" she muttered, wanting to close her eyes and take a nap. She was still tired after the long night she had just had. Midnight yawned and looked at Twilight. "wake me up if anything happens" she said, her eyes starting to close as she slowly fell asleep

Darak skidded to a stop in front of Harvest as he realized play time was over, standing there awkwardly, then laying down a bit away from Harvest. Aspen trotted over and plopped down beside him, nibbling at the grass around her as Nutmeg moved closer as well, frowning slightly. Wait so Beauty was actually sick? Like worryingly so? She swished her tail nervously, looking off in the direction of her cousin. Suddenly Echo's voice rumbled from beside her as he walked up. "I'm sure she's ok, all of us have gotten sick at one time or another" he said reassuringly. Nutmeg gulped at his close ness, nodding wordlessly, then finding her voice as a small hoof kicked her. Glaring down at her beaming friend, she glanced back over at Echo. "I hope so, I mean probably..." she trailed off. What with her families history of getting sick and hurt a LOT, she wasn't so sure. Echo smiled gently "You should get some rest Meg, it wouldn't help if you got sick too" he said, laying down as he spoke, legs tucked underneath him. Nutmeg gulped again, blushing at the use of her nickname, then silently lay down as well, leaning towards Aspen who was on her right, and stealing glances at Echo was was rather close on her left. "Told ya" Aspen whispered in her ear gleefully. "Shush, I don't know what you're talking about and I'm tired" She said, quickly laying her head down and closing her eyes, trying to ignore her racing heart.

Twilight smiled and nodded "Of course" she said, watching as her sister fell asleep beside her, then turning to feel Beauty's forehead again. "Cummon Beauty, don't you go getting sick right now" she said softly.

Beauty coughed. "But.." she stammered. "but...my belly hurts" she wailed, pressing herself against her aunt. "my belly" she wailed again. "I'll get Uncle Rusty" Stardust said, rearing and racing off to find her uncle. "UNCLE RUSTY!!!" She called. "UNCLE RUSTY!!" She finally found him grazing a little ways away from Nutmeg and her friend group. Stardust skidded to a stop. "its Beauty. She's complaining about a belly ache." Stardust said. "wait." She said, before they turned and raced to Beauty. "Is she sick?" Stardust asked

Twilight's eyes widened and she gently nuzzled her niece, glancing up at Stardust and nodding.
Rusty looked up at stardust's call, trotting towards her. "What's going on?" he asked, then frowned and nodded, cantering over to Twilight and Beauty. "Hey sweetie" he said, gently putting his nose against her belly and feeling it. "Ok, i need to find you some more herbs for that, it's still just a fever, and it's normal to get sore stomachs with it" he said reassuringly.

Nutmeg's head shot up as she heard her cousin yelling for her dad, looking over worriedly as she listened. Beauty had a sore stomach? would she be ok? What if she had colic?

"Are you sure?" Beauty asked groggily. "My belly feels like I ate some poison." she said, coughing. Stardusts ears flattened. "ok...we need to move mom and Nightstar right now." Stardust said. Midnight picked up her head. "whats going on?" she asked. "mom...beatuy has a stomach ache and we don't know if she's contagious, so you and Nightstar need to move." she said. Midnight glanced at her sister. "I can't leave her." she said, glancing back at her sister and then at Rusty. "there has to be some way Nightstar and I can stay here" she said

Twilight's ears flattened. Poison. Why was it always poison?? She glanced up at Stardust, then nodded "Sorry Midnight, but she's right, Nighstar's too young and you're too weak. You need to move. Stardust, go with her" she said, nuzzling her sister gently. Rusty frowned and pressed his nose against Beauty's belly again, listening for a moment. Then his eyes went wide. "Beauty, sweetie, i need you to tell me something. Did you eat any pretty pink flowers or black berries today?" he asked, trying to sound calm.
