Nutmeg smiled "Yep, that's it! We'll work on getting it into one word after a bit" she said, nodding and getting to her feet, helping to nudge Nightstar up.

Nightstar stood to her wobbly feet and she stumbled over to Midnights belly. She bent her head and started to nurse. Midnight turned her head to nudge Nightstars bum. Midnight nuzzled her once more and then she finished up and Midnight helped her lay back down. “N-N-N-N-U-T-M-E-G. L-L-L-L-E-A-F?” She asked. Midnight smiled. “You taught her how to say leaf?” She asked.

Nutmeg grinned as she watched the filly nurse, taking the moment to graze a bit beside her mother until Nightstar lay down again. Hearing her cousin's little voice she looked down and smiled, then back at Midnight. "Well she sorta figured it out by herself" she said, then bent down and picked up a leaf, tossing it in the air and laying down quickly. It floated gently towards the ground, and she let out a puff, blowing it towards Nightstar in response to her question.

Nightstar giggled and she lifted her muzzle in the air, blowing on the leaf. Beauty trotted over and she lay down, blowing the leaf towards Nutmeg. Midnight smiled. “It’s a,azimg that Nightstar is already talking” she said. “Just wait until Oreo hears” she whispered to her sister. “Imagine her reaction when she finds out that my little filly, born two months early, is already talking” midnigh said, gleaming. “That…that was rude of me.” She said.

Nutmeg laughed and blew the leaf to Nightstar again.

Twilight chuckled slightly "I think you have all the bragging rights here, although when you tell her i'd probably tell her in a friendly fashion, not a gloating fashion" she said with a twinkle in her eye. "It is rather impressive though! Just her second day, two months early, and she's talking! I think it about brings her to a tie with Stormy" she said with a smile.

"Not quite" Midnight said. "Stormy can walk and talk, As of right now, Nightstar is babbling out letters." Midnight said. "but its defenatly a step in the right direction." she nickered with a smile. "M-mama." Nightstar said. "L-L-L-E-A-A-F?" She asked. Midnight looked down at her. "of course" she said, motioning for Twilight to join them as well. Midnight blew the leaf towards Twilight when it came towards her

Twilight nodded in agreement, then looked over and chuckled, quickly trotting over and moving across from Midnight, laying down and blowing the leaf to Nutmeg. Nutmeg grinned as her Aunt and Mother joined, then quickly puffed to keep the leaf moving, over towards Nightstar.

Nightstar gazed upward. Her gaze watching as the leaf floated down. She took in a breath and blew the leaf towards her sister. Beauty giggled and sent the leaf back to her mother who sent it to Twilight. Midnight smiled. She hadn't played a good game in a while, but as Nightstar had asked, Midnight didn't want to disappoint her little filly

Twilight smiled at the calm and yet fun atmosphere, gently blowing the leaf to Nutmeg who switched it up by blowing it to Beauty.

Poor Buttermilk during this entire time, had been attempting to find Songbird. But with her chasing her cousin, then talking with her grandmother, then going over to her family, he'd always been a few steps behind. With a dejected, and slightly bewildered, sigh, he stopped at the edge of the herd, scanning it once again. Where could she have gone? Finally he gave up, and rather listlessly, clomped over to their little copse of trees where they had spent so many sunny days talking and grazing. Maybe she'd show up there eventually.

Beauty looked surprised but giggled, sending the leaf towards her aunt. Nightstar giggled too. "A-A-A-A-U-N-N-T- T-T-T-W-W-I-L-L-I-G-H-H-T" She stuttered. "B-B-B-E-E-A-U-T-T-Y. N-N-N-N-U-U-T-T-M-M-M-E-G-G. M-MAMA." Nighstar ran through the names of everyone who was playing leaf with her. Midnight smiled. "hi honey" she said to Nightstar. Nightstar smiled back and she gazed up toward the leaf, watching as it went floating round and around

Twilight blew the leaf over to Nighstar then chuckled "She really remembers names well!" she remarked.

Nightstar smiled and she blew the leaf back to her aunt. "B-B-B-B-E-E." Nightstar said. Midnight looked up, but she didn't see a bee. "I don't see a bee sweetie." Midnight said, looking around some more. "Do any of you guys see a bee?" she asked. Beauty looked around and shook her head. "no" she said.

Twilight blew it over to Midnight, then shook her head, glancing around as well. Nutmeg leaned towards Nighstar and cocked her head? "Where BEE?" she asked.

Nightstar pointed with her nose to where she saw the bee. Midnight followed her nose and saw the be. "Oh" she said. "its just sitting on the leaf." Midnight said. "It won't harm you." Midnight promised. "B-B-B-B-E-E" Nightstar said again.
