Twilight laughed and nodded in remembrance of her nieces, then glanced down as Nutmeg spoke. "What about me and Songbird?" she question curiously. "Well, yes you both did the tail flapping, you were rather little and you didn't play as much until you were older, although you did play the leaf game and you liked to catch snowflakes and make balls of snow with your nose" she said, smiling. "Songbird was rather energetic, she loved to race around and play tag, and she loved to look for flowers as well" she said. Nutmeg smiled "thanks!" she said happily, then nuzzled her cousin as she lay down again.

Nutmeg picked up a leaf in her mouth and she threw it into the air, blowing it towards Nutmeg. She giggled as it floated towards her cousin. Beauty jumped right back into the game. Her ears pricked, waiting for the leaf to come to her

Nutmeg quickly lay down and blew the leaf over to Beauty, grinning at Nightstar. Apparently the filly wasn't tired!

Nightstar giggled again and blew the leaf towards Nutmeg once more when Beauty had sent it towards her. She smiled, giggling, flicking her ears to show she was having fun. "N-N-N-N-U-U-U-T-M-E-G. B-B-E-A-U-T-Y. LE-AF." She said, giggling again as the leaf came back towards her

Nutmeg puffed the leaf over to Nightstar again, laughing as she giggled at the leaf, saying their names haltingly.. and then saying the Leaf in two syllables!! "Yes! LE-AF!" Nutmeg repeated encouragingly.

Beauty smiled. "she did it!" she nickered. "now, we just need her to say it like she says mama and dada." Beauty said. "Can you try that?" she asked. "L-LE-AF." She said. "Ok, we'll work on it." she said, blowing the leaf towards Nutmeg

"Yes!" Nutmeg said, blowing the leaf over to Nighstar. "Can you say it? LEAF" she said slowly as the said object floated towards the filly.

Nightstar lifted her muzzle and blew the leaf to Beauty, afterwards, she looked at her cousin, thinking hard. "L-L-L-LEAF" She stuttered. Beauty smiled and nodded. "yes!" she said. "just like that!!" she nickered softly, blowing the leaf back to Nutmeg.
"whats going on over here?" Midnight asked, when she herd all the commotion. "MOM!" Beauty said excitedly. "Nightstar said leaf!" she said. "Come on Nightstar, say it again." Beauty said. "L-L-L-L-LEAF." Nightstar stuttered once more. Midnight smiled. "yes Nightstar!" she said. "you're playing with a leaf!" she said, nickering in happiness

Nutmeg grinned "Yes!" she echoed, flicking her tail happily at the success of her cousin. Twilight looked over as Beauty called out, smiling and watching the little fillies. "See, she's already picking up new words!" she said.

Midnight nodded, smiling happily as she watched the leaf float towards Nightstar once more.
Nightstar lifted her head and blew the leaf towards Beauty, who blew it back to Nutmeg

Twilight watched for a few more minutes then dropped her head to graze a bit, wincing at an insistent kick at her belly. But at least it was there! She'd been concerned about the lack of kicking recently, so while it was slightly painful, it was also relieving.
Nutmeg blew it over to Nighstar again, shifting to a more comfortable position as it seemed they would be doing this for a while.

Nightstar giggled and she lifted her head, blowing the leaf towards her sister before she yawned. "Oh, is it nap time?" Beauty nickered. Nightstar yawned again and her eyes grew heavy until she closed them and fell asleep.
"you alright?" Midnight asked Twilight. For some odd reason, Midnight couldn't help but think about what her sister had told her before she found out Stormy could talk. She had said, what if she had a colt. That made Midnight's heart hurt. She had the slightest feeling that her sister would have a colt, and if she did, it would just crush Midnight. She knew that. And maybe...if Twilight just so happened to have a colt, she was starting to think that maybe it would be time for her to take her family somewhere else among the herd. But she would only do so while her sister was sleeping. Of course Midnight would talk it over with Specks before hand, and if he agreed, then they would move their family somewhere else among the herd.

Nutmeg smiled, nuzzling her cousin as she fell asleep.
Twilight looked up and smiled "Yes, just a bit of kicking" she said.
(Oh goodness, Midnight being crazy dramatic again. Although no surprise. Wow tho, what a foolish little drama queen xD, so hard to keep Twilight mildly respectful to such a foolish filly xD)

(she's not a kid anymore lol, but remember we went over this earlier, i dont remember when, but i do remember that i said midnight would most likely have to many memories if twilight had a colt so she would move. wow way to call my character foolish lol)
Beauty hugged her little sister and said. "she will most likely want to play leaf when she wakes up." Beauty nuzzled Nightstar as she slept and she glanced over at her mother.
"thats good." Midnight said. "Twi...I know this is going to sound horrible, but I haven't been able to stop thinking about what you told me about your foal." Midnight said. "If you do have a colt, all the memories of Freckles will come flooding back to me." she said. "but it doesn't matter, because that's in the past now."
(i can make her less dramatic and foolish (as you put it, foolish little filly, she's not even a filly anymore lol))

(Sorry xD!!!! Just gotta express myself eventually or i may burst haha. And no i don't mind!! she needs to stay the way she is, she's a foolish little filly and that's why Twilight loves her lol!! (filly being a term of endearment) Sorry if it felt belittling to you yourself, it wasn't!!! I do love their relationship, and it helps me to cope with irl annoying ppl xD, i get good practice from this lol. Plus if she started being sensible, it would prob get boring lol)
Nutmeg nodded "Well then, i guess we'd better graze now!" she said with a chuckle.
Twiilght looked over and gave her sister a hug. "I know.. I undersatnd." she said softly. "But you know I can't control what gender it is" she said gently.
