“I’m ok” Fireball muttered. “Worried about you” she said, nuzzling him again. “Our little one is doing great…..just quite restless without you pressing against me.” Fireball said as she nuzzled him. “I just need you to get better before our foal is born.” Fireball said. “I wont be able to do it without you” she said.
“Me?” Rain asked. “Why? I love your coat.” Rain said. “I want it to look like you, just like you” she said.

Nightlight closed his eyes slightly and smiled to hear they were both ok. "I'm.. sorry... I'm... trying" he said with a sigh as he opened his eyes and reached to nuzzle her again. "I.. feel..ok.. just... really..." He took a deep breath, then spoke again "Weak" he said, letting out a gust of air as he finally finished the sentence.
Spirit smiled and nuzzled her "Because you're beautiful, and I want it to look just like you" he countered with a loving yet slightly teasing look.

Fireball nuzzled him. “You’re going to be fine my darling.” Fireball said. “I promise you, I’m not going to go anywhere.” She said. “I’m never leaving your side.” She said, pressing her muzzle to his side. “Im here.” She promised. “I’m right here.”
Rain blushed hard. “Spirit.” She said, blushing again. “You’re making me blush honey”

Nightlight smiled softly, shifting to move against her slightly, surprisingly being able to move his entire body! "And i'm... here... too. I"ll try... to stay.. awake" he said, his eyes fluttering slightly then snapping open again.
Spirit smiled and chuckled slightly before gently nipping her forelock "My goal exactly" he said, still teasing.

"If you can't stay awake, please don't force yourself" Fireball said, as she moved herself so he could touch her belly. "Do you feel our little one?" She asked him, as she felt shifting around in her belly.
Rain blushed again and she nuzzled him lovingly.

Nightlight gave her a weak smile, then shifted his nose forward, pausing for a few moments before a stronger smile spread over his muzzle. "Yes" he said softly as he let his head fall back down, eyes glowing with love.

Fireball smiled. He could feel their foal. "It misses you" She added as she nuzzled his forelock. "You'll be ok sweet heart. I know you will be" Fireball promised him.
Rain felt a light breeze ruffle her mane and she looked at her mate. "its cooling off today" she said with a smile

Nightlight gave a faint smile "I'll be here for it and you soon" he said as he felt himself beginning to fall back into the dark abyss.
Spirit lifted his head higher and scented the air, then frowned slightly. "Storm front rolling in" he said, eyes trained on the east.

“I love you, Nightlight.” Fireball said as her mate fell back to sleep. That had been the longest he’d stayed awake. He was getting better! She pressed her nose against his side and just leaned against him as a breeze ruffled her mane.
“Hey” Rain said nudging him. “Spirit, what’s wrong?” She asked.

Nigtlight managed a brief smile before he could hear nothing.
Twilight looked over with a sigh. She had hoped he'd be able to stay awake at this point, but i was progress.
Spirit looked down and nuzzled her slightly "It's probably nothing to be too concerned about, but with a Storm rolling in we'll have to keep our eyes on the east. Could just be a thunderstorm, or it could be something worse. Either way, we need to be prepared" he said, then turned to whinny commandingly to Tornado, telling him to go alert the border guard to keep their eyes on the skies as well.

Midnight looked at her sister. "is he getting any better?" she whispered.
Rain nodded looking at her mate before she looked up at the sky as well. She hoped it was nothing to serious...but....they did have to keep an eye on the sky for a while. She tried to test the air to see if she could scent rain, but there was nothing. She looked at her mate again. "Are you worried?" she asked.
Tornado heard Spirit's whinny and he turned, nodding in understanding before he cantered off to find the border guards.

Twilight gave a slight nod "I think so" she said quietly.
Spirit gave a firm nod to Thunder, then turned to nuzzle Rain "Not too much, just mildly concerned" he assured her. "It shouldn't hit till later this evening, if it does pass over us anyway" he added.

Midnight nodded. "I hope you're right" She said to her sister as she looked back at her brother as the wind ruffled her mane as well.
Rain looked at her mate and she sighed ever so slightly. She could tell he was more than just mildly concerend...at least that's what she assumed. Rain gazed up at the sky as clouds began to cover the sun. "looks like it'll hit before evening" she said

Spirit looked up again, scenting the air "The wind hasn't reached us yet, I expect it will hit a lull at some point, but perhaps it shall be an hour or two before evening" he said.

Rain let out a light shiver. “Spirit…I know rain is my name, but I don’t like rain.” She said with a light chuckle “you already knew that though.” She said, looking at her mate with pure love in her eyes. “If I’m with you, I know I’ll be ok.” She said.
Midnight looked at her sister. “Do you think he won’t be?” She asked, eyes wide with fear.
