Twilight remained peacefully sleeping long into the evening, waking up mid evening and yawning. Rusty lifted his head and nuzzled her. "There you are. Good sleep?" he asked. SHe smiled and nuzzled him. "The best" she said happily.

[Abbster]

Midnight managed to sleep through the entire night without waking until morning. When she woke up the next morning feeling refreshed. “You slept through the entire night.” Specks said. “I was worried” he said. “Did I?” Midnight asked. Specks nodded. “Mhm” he said. “Where’s Twily?” Midnight asked. “Over there” specks said. Midnight nodded. “Ok”

Twilight was worried as her sister remained asleep so long, but she didn't wake her even as she moved to check on Nightlight and Fireball, whom Rusty was letting stay together for the night, as he believed the sickness was almost gone.

In the morning she awoke early, looking over, and worriedly frowning as she saw her sister still asleep. She lowered her head and began grazing, nuzzling Galaxy as the filly woke and nursed before heading off with Shade and Nutmeg to play.

Midnight stood to her hooves to let Apollo nurse and she nuzzled him lovingly before she trotted over to her sister. “Hey” she said. “Sorry if I worried you last night I was absolutely exhausted” Midnight said. “Can we talk?” She asked.

Twilight looked up and smiled when she saw her sister awake, nuzzling her "It's ok sis, i'm glad you got the sleep you needed! Of course we can talk" she agreed.

[Abbster]

Midnight smiled and nuzzled her sister. “Well ok, last night I saw you laying your head on Rusty’s back and it…it made me sad because I really wish you would do it to me.” Midnight said. “But Specks said that I have Starlight and Nightlight to do it with me.”
She said.

Twilight blinked in surprise. "Oh i'm sorry sis!!! You know we've already talked about this before, it's hard for me to do that because i feel the need to protect you. Specks only lays his head on you if he's sick, right? it's the same thing for me" she said.

[Abbster]

“Yea that’s true. Specks only lays his head on me when he’s sick. And he’s right, I’ve got Starlight and she’s got Nightlight. It works out!” Midnight said hugging her sister hard. “Speaking of. How was Nightlight last night?” She asked

Twilight smiled and nodded "Yes, it does" she said with relief, then smiled again "I think he's doing better, he's still sleeping, But Rusty is allowing Fireball to sleep beside him now" she said.

[Abbster]

“Oh that’s wonderful” midnight said. “Hey….did you uh….feed Apollo for me last night?” Midnight asked.

Rain and Spirit slept under the hill the entire night. When Rain awoke at dawn the next morning, the sun was shining and the birds were chirping. Rain smiled and carefully stood up and began her morning grazing.

Twilight smiled "Yes, I did right after I nursed Galaxy" she assured her.

Spirit was already awake by the time his mate was up, and he smiled, turning his head and nickering to her as he got to his hooves. "I'm already awake" he said with a smile as he tossed his mane. He usually was the first to wake, although sometimes he stayed laying down so as to not disturb her.

Midnight let out a breath of relief. “Thank you” she said, hugging her sister. “I…I know we’re over this now but I’m really sorry about last night….i….i just…I thought you were going to hurt specks and I couldn’t….let you.” Midnight muttered. “I just got him back it feels like.” She admitted.

Rain looked up in surprise. “How on earth did you wake before me?” She asked, trotting back over to her mate

Twilight gave a soft smile "It's ok sis, I understand, you should both have each other's backs, you're mates. And you were right to defend him, although you should know that I would have never hurt him until i'd understood what had happened" she said gently.

Spirit chuckled "I usually do" he said as he tossed his mane and nuzzled her.

[Abbster]

“I know.” Midnight said. “I am grateful that you tried to protect me anyways” she said nuzzling her sister lovingly. “It means a lot to me.”

Rain chuckled. “I’m I suppose that’s true.” She said laying down beside him

Twilight smiled "Always" she said, nuzzling her.

Spirit smiled and stayed standing so he could begin grazing, reaching down to nuzzle her now and then.
