Sugar flattened her ears slightly. “Ok” she said, slightly disappointed. She trotted with her friends until the sun went down, she looked around and yawned. “I’m sleepy” she said, yawning again as she trotted into the woods and found the willow tree.

Galmúr smiled "Don't worry, i'm sure we'll have time for some more swimming later" he said as they walked along the river. It was peaceful and quiet as evening began to turn to night, and finally he reluctantly motioned for them to turn and walk back, speeding up to a trot as it grew much darker. After a few minutes the glade shone into view, lit by the glowing moon, the willow tree shifting lightly in the breeze. He gave a slight tired shake of his mane, smiling at his two friends as he trotted over. "Yep, I think i'm definitely ready to sleep, get all our energy and all that for tomorrow" he said as they approached the sheltering tree.

''Same,'' answered Artemis, laying down tiredly underneath the tree, ''Hey, Sugar, would you sleep next too me its a little chilly tonight.''

[Abbster]

Sugar nodded and snuggled close to Artemis. She yawned and lay her head on the ground as she closed her eyes and fell asleep for the night.

Galmúr gave a slight shiver as a cold wind brushed past, swiftly making his way to the willow tree and laying down a little ways off from the fillies, laying his head down and curling his body as much as he could to conserve his body heat. Hmph, why couldn't we have ever had another colt in our group? he thought grumpily as another cold wind passed under the tree. It took him a little bit to get himself comfortable, and finally he drifted into the depths of sleep, his dreams filled once again with the mysterious test.

Artemis woke in the middle of the night, she shivered slightly in the cold breeze and snuggled closer to Sugar. Thoughts of the test filled her subconscious mind, she shivered again but not from the cold, from excitement of the events of tomorrow.

Sugar lay awake all night. She couldn’t stop thinking about the rest they had tomorrow. Finally, she closed her eyes and snuggled closer to Artemis, she closed her eyes and finally fell asleep.

Galmúr was the first to awake in the morning, getting to his hooves quietly and finding his way to the river, through the light blanket of misty fog that lay over the forest. Taking care not to sleep in, he dipped his head to drink, shivering slightly as the wind brushed over his dew adorned coat.

Artemis woke when she heard Galmúr standing up on the other side of the tree but she was so warm, she decided to stay for a little longer and wait until Sugar woke.

Sugar yawned and opened her eyes. She looked around. “I’m scared” she mumbled. “I don’t want to fail the test…but I keep thinking I will” sugar muttered to Artemis who was laying beside her.

Galmúr walked quietly back to the tree, then heard Sugar's voice through the mist and trotted over. "Good morning guys" he said with an excited grin. That night's sleep had really got his energy levels back up, and he was feeling very ready to tackle the test.

''Sugar remember what we said yesterday, if you know you can do it then you can, I know its somtimes hard to do but it helps build determination,'' Artemis answered smiling at her friend. When she heard Galmúr's cheerful greeting she returned his grin and answered, ''morning!''

[Abbster]

Sugar nodded to Artemis and bickered a hello to Galmur. “When is Nacho going to come get us?” Sugar asked

Galmúr looked down curiously at the two, hearing Artemis's answer to a question Sugar apparently asked. At Sugar's next question he shook his head "No clue, but he'll probably wait until the entire herd is awake and he can talk to them" he replied.

''Well he apparently already told them about us yesterday,'' Artemis said getting up.
