Thunder smiled and nuzzled her lovingly, glancing down as Willow shifted from where she was sleeping. "My, the pups are certainly sleeping this morning!" he said with a chuckle.

Fang smiled at the pup's exuberance, chuckling slightly. "Well i'm glad you approve Aurora!" he said with a kind smile, feeling a rather sudden fondness for the pup he had named. "They're a very nice pack, our Alpha is especially the best" he said reassuringly as they began walking back to the pack.

Thunder looked up as he heard Clover's voice, his eyes widening slightly. "Excuse me my darling, I must take care of this" he said with a swift smile to her, getting to his paws and padding out of his den, nodding slightly to the two guards then smiling at the pup. "Well hello there little one, where have you come from?" he asked gently.

Duke gave an amiable smile and nodded, getting to his paws. "Sounds good to me" he said, padding after her relaxedly.

Brutus snorted "Who knows the ways of Duke" he said in a mildly despairing tone before he looked over at Ranger. "Well, I guess that means you'll be guarding alone... are you ok with that?" he asked, hoping he was.

"of course I'm ok with that" Ranger said, smiling at the two.

Bella nodded, curious to see the new pup.

"My name is Aurora....I have come from far away...I don't exactly know where...but I do know its from far away" she said, looking at her paws. "I'm ten months old...and I was abandoned by my mother at three weeks" Aurora said. "can I please stay here?" she asked.

Coco smiled and when she sat down, she looked at Duke, blushing a little bit

Snowflake chuckled, and padded off with Brutus

Brutus smiled at Ranger thankfully, then padded off to the southern end of the dens, smiling as Snowflake padded along beside him.

Duke shook himself before sitting down, tall and straight and looking around the forest with a curious look. Seeing a movement out of the corner of his eye he glanced over to Coco and gave her a wide charming smile, then looked suddenly confused. "The Alpha" he paused, frowning as if searching for something in his brain. "What's his name again?" he asked suddenly.

Thunder listened intently then smiled welcomingly to the pup. "Of course Aurora, any lost lonely dog is welcome!" he said reassuringly. "I will speak with our Omega to find you a pleasant den to sleep in, that is if you will be alright sleeping alone?" he asked, glancing to Fang and Clover slightly, an idea sparking in his own mind.

Fang got the same idea, or at least half of it, at the same moment, and glanced over to Clover, wondering if she was thinking the same thing.

[Abbster]

Aurora flattened her ears. "I...I don't want to sleep alone" she mumbled as she looked at the alpha. "please..may I sleep with someone?" she asked, as Bella padded out. Aurora saw Bella, and slunk back behind Clover and Fang. Clover nuzzled Aurora. "nothing to be afraid of young one" Clover said. "this is our Luna, Bella" she said to Aurora. "She is the alpha's mate" Clover said. "Whats the alpha's name?" Aurora asked. "Thunder" Clover answered. "but we only call them by alpha and luna" she said. Aurora nodded. Then, Clover looked at her mate, as she saw a sparkle in his eye. "Aurora...how would you feel if Fang and I adopted you?" she asked. Aurora's eyes widened. "oh...yes please!" she said excitedly.

Coco looked over at Duke. "Thunder" she answered, scooting closer to him a bit.

Snowflake sat down beside Brutus. "so" she said. "tell me about you" she said, smiling.

Thunder smiled at the young one, nodding swiftly "Of course my dear" he said gently, then turned and nuzzle his mate as she padded over, listening quietly to the pup speak with the two guards. His eyes widened slightly as he heard Clover's question to the young pup. Oh! So Fang and Clover were already mates!! well that was a surprise!! He looked to Fang.

Fang gave a wide smile and nuzzled the pup. "I agree, I would love if you could be our adopted daughter!" he said fondly.

Thunder smiled widely. "Well then, that's settled! I can get the Omega to enlarge your bed if you wish" he said to the two.

Duke smiled happily "Oh right! Anyway, Our Alpha Thumper, what did he tell us to guard for?" he asked, his expression of pure innocence as he looke down at her.

Brutus smiled as he looked down at the husky sitting beside him. "Well, let me think" he said, blushing slightly. He didn't share often. "I was born in what the Upright's called a park. I have no idea who my father was, but my mother did say something about escaping from some Upright place, so I think maybe he was from there. Anyway, we lived in the park for a while, but then the Uprights came and started tearing it down, and we were forced to run. I must have been about a year. I had three siblings at that time" he closed his eyes in sudden pain. "It was a horrible day. The Uprights somehow knew we were hiding in the trees, and they were ready for us when we came running out. I was the only one to make it out of that park. The rest of my family was taken to The Great Unknown. It was only because I was the runt of the litter that I was able to escape, I ran and ran and ran until I stumbled into this wood, and Thunder's father found me and brought me to the pack." he said, finishing quietly and sniffling slightly in a sudden show of weakness. He still missed his mother, even though it had been years. She had been so brave and good.

Bella smiled at the two guards. Then she heard a bit of yapping. "I must be going" she said. "our pups are waking" she said. "they'll be wanting milk" she added, with a lick to her mate before she turned and padded back into the den. "I'm here my darlings" she said to her pups.

Clover smiled. Aurora jumped for joy. "I FINALLY HAVE PARENTS!!" She squealed. "hush" Clover said. "The alpha and Luna's pups are only four weeks old, we need to stay quite when they are asleep while we're out here" she said. Aurora nodded. "can we make our bed bigger?" Aurora asked. "well, I suppose, but if Remmie isn't doing anything, she may want a job" Clover said, looking at her mate a little bit.

Coco chuckled a bit. "he wants us watching for coyotes." Coco said. "but...since we're together, why don't we get to know eachother?" she suggested.

Snowflake moved closer to Brutus. "i had no idea" she said, nuzzling him. "im so sorry" she said

Thunder smiled and nodded, nuzzling her as he turned back to the two and chuckled. "I think I shall leave you three too it" he said, inclining his head to them and padding after his mate.

Fang grinned at the pup's exuberance and nuzzled his mate happily. Only their first day, and already they had a pup! that had to be a first! He smiled again "Well, perhaps we should ask Remmie then" he suggested.

Duke frowned then nodded, turning to gaze seriously and searchingly at the forest, then glancing down at her with another smile. "Sure! I love chatting!" he agreed easily. "I can go first!" he said with an excited smile. "Let me think..." he frowned. His memory, as all knew, was not the best. "I think I was born in an Upright place... My mother was gray. I think I had siblings" he frowned again. "I was put in a big roller when I was a bit older, and they took me to this really fun place, where we got to run over and through stuff, but I kept knocking over stuff" he frowned again. "I don't really remember what else happened, but I think I was put in a big roller again, and then they put me in front of a big Upright den and tied me there with that nasty rope stuff. I got bored after a while because it was raining and I broke it by pulling on it, and wandered into the woods, and then I found the pack and well I stayed!" he said with a smile, seemingly oblivious to the fact that he'd been abandoned.

Brutus smiled sadly and nuzzled her "It's not your fault, I just don't open up much" he said softly. "But I want to always be able to open up with you" he added seriously.

Bella looked up as Thunder padded into the den. Their four pups nursing hungrily. "I didn't realize Clover and Fang were mates" she said.

Clover smiled and she padded over to Remmie with her mate...and adopted daughter. "Hi Remmie" Clover said. Remmie looked up. "Hi Clover, Fang." she said, then she smiled at Aurora. "well hello there little one" she said. "I'm Remmie, who might you be?" she asked. "I'm Aurora! Clover and Fang's adopted daughter!" she said. Remmie smiled. "well, its very nice to meet you Aurora" Remmie said. "what can I do for you guys today?" she asked. "well...if you need something to do, we were hoping you could make our bed bigger" Clover said. Remmie smiled. "I'd be happy to!" she said. "let me get started on that right away" she said, padding to the den, then she stopped, she turned. "Clover, Fang. We have a few more spare dens, if you'd like I can move your bed into one of them, so you can have your own den" she said.

Coco smiled, and leaned forward to nuzzle him. "well..there isn't really much about me" she said. "although...I do know I have a sister, but she's not in the pack" Coco said. "my father, he left my mother when I was very young, and he took me with him, then, we ended up here" Coco said.

Snowflake blushed. "Well, you already know all about me" she joked. "I grew up here" she said. "but...now that I found you" she broke off, unsure if she should continue

Thunder smiled at his pups and mate, then chuckled "I didn't either!" he said. "Although I did sort of guess it this morning when they came out of the den walking so close to each other, but I wasn't sure" he said with a smile. "I really do want to do some social calls later though, I feel as though some feelings are starting to surface around the pack, and I want to be alert to them."

Fang gave a slight smile to the Omega as he padded over with his mate and adopted daughter, letting Clover speak for them. At her words, his eyes brightened slightly and he turned to Clover. "Would you like that? Or do you want to still be in the same den as your sister?" he asked, sensitive to her wants.

Duke's eyes widened in surprise as Coco nuzzled him, the touch unexpected. As she spoke he tilted his head curiously. His brow wrinkled in care at her words, somehow breaking through his usual obliviousness. "Oh Coco" he said in a suddenly emotional voice. "Maybe we can find your mother and sister someday?" he suggested hopefully.

Brutus smiled and nuzzled her, wishing she'd continue. "Well I know that I've never been able to share with anyone before. You...You're special Snowflake" he said in a gruffly soft voice, unused to using it.

Bella nodded. "I think you should do that" she said, then an idea came to her mind. "only if I can do it with you" she said, reaching forward to nuzzle her mate, and then lick his ear. "I love you, Thunder" she said, smiling as she looked down at their four four week old  pups. "Ya know, over a year ago, I never would have imagined my life being like this" she said. "being your mate, and the mother to four wonderful pups" she said, leaning forward to lick him again. "Thunder, you really changed my life" Bella said. "ever since we first met, I knew there was something about you, that was different from the other dogs, and then we got to know one and other." She said. "but, when you became Alpha, I was certain things between us would change...until you chose me as your beta." Bella said. "I've loved you, from the moment we met" she said, smiling again.

Clover stopped in her tracks. Sleep alone in a den with her mate and new daughter...or still be with her sister. "Remmie...I'm going to need to talk to Lulu about this...can I have a few hours?" she asked. Remmie nodded. "of course, whatever you need" she said. Clover smiled

Coco blushed a little. "Oh Duke, I would love that" she said, smiling.

Snowflake looked at Brutus. "I love you" she suddenly blurted out

Thunder smiled then nodded quickly "Oh definitely! We can even get Drake to watch the pups. I think it would be wonderful, I could talk to all the guys, you could talk to the gals" he said with a sudden grin at the idea. He nuzzled her "I love you Belle" he said lovingly, then laughed. "I never could have imagined it either, everything I did imagine pales at what I have right now! You're the best mate I could ever have asked for, and the most beautiful" he said lovingly, licking her nose and her ear with shining eyes. "And never could things change between us, since I saw you I knew I needed to be near you. Plus you did make a rather exceptional Beta! But I think you're much better as my Luna" he said, nuzzling her again.

Fang nuzzled her "Make any decision you need my darling, I truly do not mind. Wherever you are, there is my home" he said lovingly.

Duke gave a wide pleased smile. "Well then." he said, then looked thoughtful. "Where did you live before here? or do you remember what direction?" he asked, which was a funny thing for him to ask since he couldn't remember such things for the life of him.

Brutus's eyes widened. No way. The most beautiful female in the pack, the one he'd had feelings for since the last Long Cold... she loved him? His eyes shone suddenly. "Oh Snowflake" he breathed. "I..I was never sure if I had any right to say this, but I've loved you since the Long Cold." he said softly.

[Abbster]

Bella smiled. “Thats an amazing idea!” She said, as another idea came into her head. “Oh darling, what if we have Aurora watch them?” She asked. “She’s a pup too, and she could teach them some manners!” She said, licking her mate lovingly.

“Thank you my love” clover said, licking fang. ”I don’t care where we sleep, I just want to be with you!” Aurora said, nuzzling her new parents.

Coco thought for a moment. “Somewhere in the woods…” she said.

Snowflakes eyes lit up. “Oh Brutus!” She whispered, leaning over to lick his nose.

Thunder nuzzled her lovingly, then laughed "That would be a wonderful idea! And it would show her that we trust her" he added, knowing how important that was. Then he sighed, thinking about trust... "I need to figure out how to get Askari to know we trust her too" he added, getting slightly pensive.

Fang smiled and licked her on the nose, then hugged his adopted daughter. "I agree" he said happily. "Oh Aurora, I'm so glad we found you!" he said lovingly.

Duke frowned. Not much to go on. "This woods?" he asked, just to be sure. "There's a possibility that they could be.. oh what's that name we have for dogs that live out there alone?" he asked with a frown.

Brutus bent his head down and licked her nose tentatively, then nuzzled her. "Oh Snowflake" he said, breathing in her soft airy scent. "I.." he paused, gulped, getting his nerve back then looked her in the eyes. "Snowflake... I know it's sudden, and I know I have nothing to offer you besides a spot by my side forever, and my protection for as long as I have the strength to give it, and my love for as long as I shall live... but would you be my mate?" he asked, hope flooding through his veins, his heart beginning to pound so loudly he was sure it could be heard miles around.

[Abbster]

“I could talk to her” Bella said. “But ya know, not right now” she joked, as she nuzzled her pups who were still nursing and pawing at her belly.

Clover smiled, and then she saw her sister emerge. “I’ll be back, darling…keep an eye on Aurora” she said.

Coco nodded. “I believe so” she said. “Oh, loners!” She said.

Snowflake gasped. “Are you…are you being serious?” She asked. But she could tell he was being serious. “Oh Brutus…that would make me so happy” Snowflake said. “I’ve loved you since I knew what the word love meant” she said, pressing close to him. “Yes, yes yes YES. I will be your mate” she said.

Thunder chuckled and nuzzled her "Thank you darling, I know you're the best for the job" he said lovingly.

Fang smiled and nuzzled her with a nod "Have a good talk" he barked after her, then turned to Aurora. "Alrighty, what say I give you a quick little tour of this place?" he suggested.

Duke blinked "Well that helps!" he said then nodded "Oh right! Loners. Anyway, what if they became loners? You could even maybe ask Tander if he's seen any dogs like them! I think he goes out a lot to see those... uh... loners" he said, quickly remembering the word and looking pleased that he had.

Brutus nodded seriously, then smiled so widely he felt like his face would split. "Oh Snow... thank you! Thank you thank you thank you!" he said, hugging her and then nuzzling her, licking her on the ear ecstatically. "I can't believe that you said yes!! I mean obviously I hoped" he said with a bark of laughter. "But I never thought I could get so lucky! Oh I don't think any moment in my life will ever top this" he said, breathing in her scent. His mates scent. His MATE!
