Thunder smiled and nodded in agreement as Daisy jumped off him. "Yes, we definitely should!" he said, swiftly standing and padding up to the log.

Fang looked over to her and his eyes clouded slightly. "It... it was just something from my past... something I don't care to remember a lot" he said quietly. He would tell her... but he preferred to tell her alone.

Duke looked over and gave a wide grin "That sounds like a good idea!" he said, standing up, then looking down and suddenly nuzzling her again. "My mate" he added, almost shyly.

Brutus smiled and nodded "I think I see the Alpha moving to speak!" he added.

Thunder hopped onto the log and looked out over the few pack members that were in the area. "A momentous occasion has occured!" he barked out in his strong voice, causing heads to turn. "Our firstborn daughter, Daisy, has begun to talk!" he said, pride filling his voice.

Bella’s eyes glowed with pride for her oldest daughter as her mate jumped onto the log below their den. Daisy on the other hand….well she was still very confused. All she did was say mama and dada. What’s so good about that? She wondered.

Clover licked his nose. “Oh Fang” she said. “I’m so sorry darling” she said, licking his nose again. “I’m right here, and I’ll never leave you” she promised.

Coco looked down at her paws and blushed hard. Then she looked up as Thunder spoke. She gasped. “That’s wonderful!” She said, smiling.

Snowflake looked at the alpha. “Looks like Daisy has started talking” she said to Brutus, looking down fondly at the four puppies.

Bella smiled with more pride as her mate told the pack their news. She looked down at Daisy and licked her ear. “My little Daisy” Bella said smiling big.

Willow growled slightly at the big deal made, then pounced on her sister.

Fang smiled. Of course, she'd said the exact right thing. He licked her nose in return. "Thank you my beautiful mate, I know you will be here for me always, as shall I" he said softly.

Duke smiled down at her, then looked over with an even wider smile. "Oh! How fun!" he said, wagging his tail.

Brutus looked over and nodded with a smile "It looks like it! They're growing up fast!" he said, but his own thoughts were of his own future pups.

Thunder smiled proudly then stepped down to nuzzle his daughter, just as Willow rushed over and bowled Daisy over.

Daisy growled as her sister pounced on her. She rolled on top of her, and grabbed her ear in her mouth, tugging lightly at it as they rolled.

Clover smiled. "always my darling" she said, smiling, licking him and then Aurora.

Coco smiled as well. "Duke, thats Daisy" Coco said gently

Snowflake smiled. "not to fast" she added. "Thunder and Bella love them dearly.

Willow grabbed her sister's ear as well growling fiercely.

Fang smiled lovingly, scooching closer to his family, feeling pride and love. He had a family. It was so sudden, and yet felt so right!

Duke smiled "right, Daily!" he said happily.

Brutus chuckled and nodded "Well I can understand that!" he said.

Daisy growled angrily, and she jumped on top of her sister's back, rolling around with her, growing, and tugging at her ear. "DADA!" Daisy said, almost asking her father for help in that moment.

Clover smiled. "Oh my darling Fang" she whispered to him, snuggling up close to him and licking his ear. Aurora sleeping peacefully in between them.

Coco chuckled a bit, and she nuzzled Duke. "Dai...Sy" she said. "Daisy"

Snowflake smiled. "me too" she said

Willow growled and attempted to grab her sister's ear again. Thunder chuckled "Now now then, fight your own battles missy" he said fondly.

Fang smiled and nuzzled her lovingly.

Duke blinked, brow furrowing. "OH! Daisy!" he said, finally getting it right.

Daisy let out a huff, but began playing with her sister again, yanking on her ear…lightly, of course, and pouncing on top of her tail, rolling around the ground…eventually rolling into a mud puddle. Bella’s eyes grew wide. “No girls!” She said…but Daisy and Willow were already covered in mud.


Clover heaved a happy sigh and her eyes closed a bit.

Coco smiled and nuzzled Duke. “Yes, that’s right.” She said

Willow growled and grabbed her sister's tail, just as they rolled into the mud. She was completely unfazed by this and leaped onto her sister again, until her father came over.
Thunder swiftly padded over to the two pups and picked up a wriggling, mud covered Willow, bringing her back to dry land and setting her down. "Well.... I suppose baths are in order then!" he said.

Fang smiled and snuggled up against his family, feeling more relaxed and happy then he had in months.

Duke nuzzled her and smiled happily again, then suddenly, miraculously, remembered his mission. "Oh, should I ask..." he frowned again, then went with the safe route "Should I ask the Alpha if he knows any loners that look like you?" he asked.

Daisy let out a yip...as if to say, NO BATHS! Bella looked down at her two mud covered daughter. "I am NOT licking them clean" she said, looking at her mate. "there is NO way." she said, looking back down at the mud covered pups, as Saylor and Sage pounced on Thunder. Bella chuckled. "we need someone to watch these two while we take Daisy and Willow to the stream" she said, looking around, and then seeing Coco and Duke. "would you two mind watching Saylor and Sage?" she asked.

Coco smiled a little, and almost nodded to her new mate when Bella spoke to her. "sure we can!" she said, padding towards the two pups.

Bella smiled and leaned down to pick up Daisy, as Thunder picked up Willow, and they headed to the stream.

Willow growled in agreement with her sister, then yelped as her father suddenly picked her up. Thunder nodded "Agreed, the stream for these two" he said with a chuckle as he picked up his daughter and followed his mate.

Duke looked over with a slightly blank expression, but nodded quickly as Coco spoke, getting up and trotting after her. It was only when he arrived at the two pups that he realized they were who they were watching. "Wait, so who are these ones?" he asked in confusion to Coco.

"This is Sage" Coco said, nosing Sage a bit. "And then Saylor" she said, as she nosed Saylor.

Bella and Thunder arrived at the stream. She found a shallow spot, and carefully put Daisy in the stream. Daisy tried jumping out. "ah ah" Bella said. "you need to get yourself clean" she said, nosing Daisy back into the stream with her nose. Daisy let out a low growl as Willow was plopped beside her. Bella sat down beside Thunder, and nuzzled him lovingly. "see" she said. "this is why getting Aurora to watch them, is a good idea" she said, as Daisy and Willow pawed at the water...which was turning brown from the mud.

Sage growled as the female nosed him, pouncing on her tail in rebellion.

Duke blinked. "Shade and Selah?" he asked in a dubious tone.

Thunder plopped willow into the stream and she growled at him slightly, immediately attempting to run out of the cold water. "No sweetie, stay with your sister" he said, pushing her back. She turned and growled at her sister, then became mezmirized by a leaf that was floating by and attempted to catch it. Thunder laughed and nodded, nuzzling her in return. "Agreed" he said.

Coco carefully picked up Sage and plopped him down beside his sister again. "there you go" she said. "my tail is not a toy" she said gently. Saylor blinked at Coco, and then pounced on Sage, rolling around in the dirt with him.

Coco smiled softly. "Sa ge, and Say lor" Coco said to him.

Bella sighed a little as she watched her two daughters play in the water.

Sage growled then swiftly grabbed Saylor's ear and beginning to grapple with her.

Duke frowned in concentration "Sage and Saylor" he said slowly, then smiled.

The leaf continued it's journey and Willow turned to her sister instead, jumping on her and getting her completely wet.
