Saylor growled, and rolled in the dirt with her little brother, grabbing his tail in her mouth.

Coco nodded. "thats right!" she said. "No Saylor, just like I told Sage, your brothers tail is not a toy" she said. Saylor blinked a little, and then dropped her brothers tail, jumping on top of him instead.

Daisy let out a yip, and wriggled around with her sister. Bella smiled. "alright you two, you're clean enough" She said, leaning down to take the two pups out of the water. Then, she picked up Daisy, and headed home beside her mate...when they arrived back, Bella set Daisy down on the grass beside her brother and sister, and watched as they jumped back into the playing action. She smiled.

Sage growled, not caring if his tail was or wasn't used as a toy, and grabbing his sister's ear.

Duke smiled, then chuckled at the two pups in amusement.

Thunder retrieved Willow, trotting back with his mate and placing Willow down, whereupon she immediately threw herself at her siblings. "Thank you both for keeping an eye on them" He said, inclining his head slightly to the two dogs.

"of course" Coco said with a bright smile. "it was our pleasure" she added, with a nuzzle towards Duke.

Bella shifted on her paws for a few moments, as she watched her pups play....realizing for the first time...that they were growing up so fast. "is anyone else hungry?" Bella suddenly asked. Saylor stopped playing and stared over at her mother, letting out a yip, as did Daisy. "I'd say these four are" she said as the four pups went racing towards Bella. Bella stood up, and padded back to the den...where it was private, so the pups could nurse. When they got to the den, Bella lay down on the bed and the pups went scampering towards her belly, latching on to nurse. Bella looked down at them, and nuzzled each of them.

Duke nodded in agreement with a smile, turning to nuzzle her in return, then getting up to head back down to their guarding post.

Thunder smiled and nuzzled his mate "I'd say they are" he agreed, nudging the pups to be sure they followed her in, and about to follow her when Duke suddenly let out a bark behind him. "Oh, Alpha!" he said suddenly. Thunder whipped his head around. Duke had a remembering expression on his face, a rather earnest hard look. "Coco and I were wondering if you'd seen any" he blanked for a moment, then remembered. "Any loners that sorta look like her?" he questioned hopefully. Thunder glanced at Coco, then back to Duke, sitting down and looking thoughtful. "Hmm... well I do know quite a few labs are in the park... what color are the ones you are searching for?" he asked curiously.

Coco looked down at her paws...in nervousness. "well...i remember my father telling me my mother was a yellow lab...so I suppose a yellow lab" she said, looking at Duke. "And he said my sister went by the name of..." Coco thought for a moment. "Liberty" she said, looking at the alpha and then at her mate. Her heart was pounding. If the alpha had said he knew any dogs that looked like a yellow lab...that would mean Coco could find her sister! She looked down at her paws and then back at the alpha, hope sparkling in her eyes.

Bella nuzzled her pups again, watching the den entrance for some odd reason.

Duke leaned against her reassuringly as he saw her look of nervousness, listening and attempting to put this to memory as much as he could. Lily? had she said her sister's name was Lily? He wasn't sure.

Thunder frowned, thinking hard. "I believe... I believe I have indeed seen a yellow lab or two, although it can be difficult to tell if they're purebred or not, but I'm sure there's at least one in this woods" he said after a moment, nodding firmly at his own words. "So... your mother and sister you say?" he said, slightly curious. "Well I haven't personally spoken to any of the labs, but I would not be against checking for you, although I cannot promise to being able to find either of them in one day" he said warningly.

Coco nodded. "alright, thank you my alpha" she said, dipping her head. "Duke and I were going to check later today" she said. She didn't want to just...tell him he could go back to his mate and pups now, but she knew he wanted to. Coco turned to leave, padding off with Duke once more.

Thunder smiled "If you fail to track down these dogs, I will be more than willing to search myself tomorrow" he said, watching as the two walked away, then ducking into the den to see his Luna.

Duke listened quietly, then nudged Coco slightly as they walked away, looking down at her. "So, are we gonna go look?" he asked.

[Abbster]

Coco nodded to him, and padded after her mate. "I...I don't know...we don't know what we're looking for" She admitted a little bit.

"Thunder" Bella mumbled. "I...I just realized...for the first time...that the pups are growing up so fast" she said. "why do they have to be growing so fast?" she asked...almost wailing it as she pressed herself against her mate.

Duke tilted his head "We're looking for labs, right?" he asked cautiously. "Well there can't be too many of those, and where is it that our Alpha goes when he goes to meet Loners? Because we could probably start there" he said.

Thunder nuzzled her lovingly, laying down beside her and licking her nose. "Oh Belle, I know, it does seem like that, but that's how life works, they must grow, they must grow big and strong. You wouldn't want them to be this small in the next Long Cold would you?" he asked gently.

Coco thought for a second. "actually...I don't know" she admitted slightly. "but...we could just start looking" she added, licking him. "thank you for coming with me" she added.

Bella sighed. "I know" she said, licking her mate. "and I know they need to grow" she added. "and they're still so small, we've got months left before they get as big as Aurora" she added, licking her mate again.

Duke gave a grin "Of course!" he said happily "Now let's start looking! There's only one forest, and two of us... wait there is only one forest, right?" he asked, suddenly with a mildly worried expression on his face.

Thunder nuzzled her. "Yes, lots of time with them as little fun furballs" he agreed with a smile.

Coco laughed, but nodded. "yes, from what I know at least" she said, as she padded into the forest beside her mate. Coco looked around..the forest was the same it had always been. Finding loners would be very difficult...if not impossible. Coco sighed. "what if we don't find anyone?" she asked suddenly.

Bella smiled. "you always know how to make things better, my rolling Thunder" she said, licking his nose lovingly. "I love you" she added

Duke nodded with a sigh of relief "Ok good" he said. After a few moments, he looked over at her voice. "Don't worry Coco, we'll find someone, i'm sure of it! I have an excellent nose. At least I think I do" he said suddenly looking dubious and sniffing loudly to test his scent.

Thunder smiled and licked her ear "Anything for you my darling Belle. I love you so much" he returned.

"don't doubt yourself" Coco said, nuzzling him. "i believe in you" she promised.

Bella smiled, and when the pups finished nursing, she moved towards her mate, and settled down beside him. "how did I get so lucky to have you as my mate?" she asked
