Duke smiled at her and then sniffed hard again, frowning. "I think I smell a faint scent of dog over that way" he said, motioning to the west.

Thunder smiled and nuzzled her, licking her ear "I'm the lucky one!" he said emphatically.

[Abbster]

Coco picked up the scent as well, and went racing after it. "Its stronger" she said, excitedly.

Bella smiled, and she pressed close to him, as their pups played. "alright you four, outside we go" Bella said, standing and leading them outside.

Duke swiftly loped after her, his long legs crashing through the brush as he scented now and then. "Yep I think it is!" he agreed.

Thunder smiled and stood as well as the pups tumbled after their mother

Coco stopped when they came up on a yellow lab. "can I help you?" she asked. Coco looked at Duke, and pressed close to him. "I'm waiting" the lab said. Coco looked at her mate. "well...umh....yes...actually, I'm looking for my sister" she said. "What's your sister's name?" the lab asked. "Liberty" Coco said. "I know a Liberty" she said. "she lives that way" the lab said, as pups came up behind her. Coco looked at the pups, and then the dog turned and left.
 
Bella smiled, and pressed against her mate as they walked out of the den.

Duke nuzzled Coco as they suddenly came upon a yellow lab, letting her doing the talking while he simply nodded and smiled to the dog. Oh Liberty! he'd have to remember that. Liberty. Liberty. Libera. Libby. Ilbera. Nope he couldn't do it. He turned and trotted along with Coco "Well this is exciting!" he voiced, sounding excited himself.

Thunder smiled and padded out of the den, the pups tumbling around them and heading out into the open light again.

Daisy made a beeline for Saylor, she jumped on top of her and began rolling around in the dirt, as Clover, Fang and Aurora came from their new den. Aurora's eyes lit up at the sight of the four puppies, and she jumped down, running over to them. Daisy got off Saylor, and she looked at Aurora, she let out a whine, and scampered over to her parents, hiding under her fathers paws with another whine. She trembled as her siblings followed after her.

Coco smiled and they began walking in the direction the lab had pointed to.

Willow raced after her siblings, Sage just behind her, then skidded to a halt as the large puppy suddenly appeared. her ears flattened in fear, and she looked up with wide eyes. For a moment she considered staying, but realizing that all her siblings had abandoned her, she turned and fled back to her parents.

Fang stretched as he emerged, smiling as Aurora went over the the puppies excitedly, but swiftly trotting after her. As they ran away whimpering, he nuzzled her. "It's ok sweetie, I think they just got a bit surprised! If you approach them more gently I know they'll love you!" he said reassuringly.

Duke smiled easily, his long legs making for long strides as he moved through the forest, looking for all the world like a young longleg, except for his dark coat.

Daisy was trembling under her fathers legs. “It’s ok Aurora” Bella said. “They’re so young, they just got a little frightened” Bella explained, nosing Saylor and Willow out from under her. “Go say hi” Bella said. Saylor blinked and then bravely walked over to Aurora. She sniffed her, as Aurora sat down, curling her tail over her paws. “Hi” Aurora said. “I’m Aurora” Aurora said. “Who are you?” She asked. “Thats Saylor” clover said. “Well hello Saylor” Aurora said, smiling brightly.

Coco slowed to a walk. “I don’t smell anything” she said, disappointed.

Thunder smiled gently at Aurora, then nuzzled his two pups that were still beside them. Willow, seeing her youngest sister approach the new dog, raced over confidently and bowled over her sister, staring up at the pup and giving a yip.

Duke lifted his large head and sniffed deeply. "I think I might catch a bit of scent... but it's hard to follow" he said with a concentrating frown.

[Abbster]

Daisy…stayed behind and she stayed under her fathers paws, trembling still. She started at Aurora a bit, and then realized she looked nice, so she raced over and jumped on Willows back. “Hi” Aurora said. “Are you Daisy?” She asked. Daisy blinked a bit and let out a yip, saying yes. She jumped off her sisters back, and then raced over to Aurora, who lay down on her belly as Daisy climbed up her back, flopping over on the curly pups back. “Well hi” Aurora said to Daisy, nosing her a little bit. Daisy let out another yip, jumping off Auroras back, and then she raced over to her father again. “Dada” Daisy said.

Cocos eyes lit up. “I think I got it too” she said.

Willow growled slightly as Daisy jumped on her back, squishing her a bit, then racing over to Aurora and pouncing on one of her curly furred paws, nibbling on it.

Duke grinned and picked up the pace "I think it's getting stronger this way!" he said hopefully.

[Abbster]

Aurora looked down, and pulled her paw back. “My paw is not a toy” she said, nosing the pups back to their parents. Daisy growled a bit, and then she jumped on her sister, rolling around with her. “Well Aurora, now that you’re here, do you think you could keep an eye on these four?” Bella asked. Auroras eyes lit up. “I’d love to!” She said eagerly. Bella smiled and looked at her mate. “Call the pack together” she said, nuzzling him.

Cocos eyes lit up again and they raced towards the scent.

Willow growled as well, then turned and grabbed her sister's ear again. Thunder smiled and nodded in agreement, then nuzzled his mate again lovingly. "Of course dear" he said, moving to the log.

Duke loped along beside Coco, keeping his pace at hers as the scent grew even stronger. Was it just his imagination... or was it faintly similar to his mates?

Bella padded after her mate as she had allowed Aurora to go into their den with the pups. She was in the process of herding them into the den for a nap. The pups ended up stumbling sleepily into the den. Bella smiled at Aurora and watched her fade into the den.

Coco looked at her mate. “That…that scent…” she mumbled, looking at Duke. “That’s really familiar!” She said eyes glowing. “Who goes there!” A dog growled. Coco flattened her ears and slunk behind Duke as a yellow lab padded out from a bush.

Thunder smiled to his mate as their pups went into the den, then stepped forwards, giving a strong howl to capture his pack's attention, or rather the few members of the pack that were there. Just as he called, Rebel burst through the brush, panting with a wide grin before sliding up and sitting as the others arrived. Thunder looked out over the pack "Myself and my Luna wish to speak with you all, as we have been intensely occupied with our pups the past month, we have much to catch up on of our pack's feelings and activities. As such, your Luna, Bella, will speak with all females, and I shall speak with all males. Males, meet me at Drake's den." he said, glancing over to his beta who nodded in acceptance of this.

Duke's ears pricked at this and he smiled. It had to be right then! Suddenly a ferocious growling voice made him slide to a stop, and he gulped as the yellow lab walked towards them. "Oh uhmm uh... hello!" he said, blinking. "Uh I'm.. I'm Duke, and this is Coco" he said. "And you must be um... oh it's on the tip of my tongue" he frowned hard. "Libby?" He asked haltingly.
