Bella smiled. "Always" she promised. "but, I think I'm going to take a small nap for a bit" She said, settling herself down on the ground as her eyes closed.

Clover smiled and then sat down. Aurora looked at her paws. "oh...well...ok" she said, stuttering a bit.

Coco smiled as well and she lay down on her bed, resting her head on her paws.

Ginger looked at Remus. She sighed. "Ok...well...my past...was dark...even though I was born here" she said

Thunder smiled and nodded, nuzzling her again 'Of course my darling" he said, turning to watch the pups.

Fang smiled and nuzzled her reassuringly again.

Duke settled down even more, moving a bit closer to Coco with a very happy smile. Not only did he have a mate, but he'd helped her find her sister! How joyful!

Remus gave a listening look of concern, reaching over to give her a swift gentle impulsive nuzzle. "If you wish to not relive it, I understand, I don't need to know" he offered quietly.

Aurora shifted on her paws again. "well...at three weeks old, I watched my mother die from a lightning bolt...and then I wandered around as a tiny little pup and." she stopped, as she looked at the ground. "and...and then someone else found me, and took me in...until I was 5 months old..."

Ginger sighed. "no..its fine" she insisted.

Fang listened intently, pressing against her for strength as she began telling them her tale. "You must have been so brave to stay out there on your own for so long!" he said quietly.

Remus nodded and waited for her to continue.

"when I was five months old....the dog who took me in, abandoned me as well" Aurora said. "for 5 months, I was wondering on my own...it was the worst thing ever." she said. "but when you guys found me, I felt happy...I felt safe...it was strange, I had never felt that before" she said.

Ginger sighed. "one day I was scouting with my mother...when she was shot by some sort of hunter who thought she was a wolf" Ginger said, looking at her paws. "I ran, as she had always taught me to run, I ran as fast as I could, but i fell over something sharp and cut my fur" Ginger said.

Fang nuzzled her, then hugged her "Oh Aurora, I'm so glad we found you!! And I can promise that we will never EVER abandon you, as long as we both live. You will always be our pup from now to always" he said lovingly.

Remus's eyes widened and he shifted closer, pressing his side against hers. To see your own mother shot by Uprights in front of your very eyes... he couldn't imagine.

(UPRIGHTS! THATS WHAT THEY'RE CALLED!)

Aurora smiled, and tears came to her eyes. "you...you promise?" she asked, a bit hesitantly. Clover licked her. "of course honey" she said. "and when we have pups one day, you'll get to be their big sister" Clover said. Aurora smiled. "I...I love you...fang and Clover" she said, pressing close to them.

Ginger shifted nervously a bit. "when...when I came back to the pack...i explained what happened, and then learned that my...my father and sister were killed trying to fight off a wolf" she whispered. "I was all alone." Ginger said.

Fang nodded and licked her as well "Of course" he agreed, then grinned over at Clover as she spoke of future pups, nodding happily at the idea, then nuzzling his adopted daughter again. "I love you Aurora" he responded.

Remus's eyes filled with pain for her and he nuzzled her again, longer this time. "Oh Ginger, I am so sorry." he said, the pain real in his voice.

Aurora smiled as her new adopted parents held her close. She licked them each. "I really love having parents" she said.

Ginger flattened her ears at the memory. "but...but theres more" she finally said

Fang smiled and nuzzled her again "And we love having a daughter!" he said happily.

Remus looked into her eyes and nodded. "I'm listening" he said quietly, showing all the support he could through his gaze.

Clover nodded in agreement. "yes" she said. "I know that as sure as I'm sitting here, we love you honey" Clover promised.

Ginger shifted again. "Remus...i had a mate before i met you.." she said. "his name was Cloud...and i...eventually found out i was pregnant with his pups." She said, as the memory returned. "one night...while I was sleeping, after I had given birth...Cloud was keeping watch as our pups were only a few days old." she said. "a coyote snuck in...killed my 3 pups and my mate" Ginger said, looking at her paws again, as tears came to her eyes

Fang nodded in agreement.

Remus's eyes widened, then he gave a gasp as she continued speaking. "OH GINGER" he said, realizing the strength it must have taken her to start liking him, or even loving him. "I am so sorry. That is horrible, I am so so so sorry" he said, hugging her gently. "I cannot even imagine such a thing, I...Oh ginger" he said again, pressing against her, sadness and pain filling his gaze.

Ginger smiled, and pressed close to Remus. "Remus...I want to let myself get close to you...but im scared that if I do...ill go through the same thing again" She finally admitted pressing close to him once more as a tear fell down her face. "I've known this for a while...I love you" she said, looking into his eyes. "I love you so much, and after Cloud was killed, I didn't think I would ever love a dog again...but then I met you" she said.

Remus pressed closer to her as well, listening quietly, and suddenly feeling his heart begin pounding faster at her words. She loved him, after all she'd been though. And then he knew. "Oh ginger, don't be scared to. Because I know now that I love you too. This feeling, it's not something that can be faked, and I know now. Thank you for taking the chance to love again... and thank you for me being the object of this love" he said, suddenly licking her nose.

Ginger looked down at her paws and she licked his ear nervously. "Make me a promise.." Ginger mumbled.
