Thunder tilted his head in confusion. Was that not what she'd wanted? He paused, then padded after her, poking is head through. "Bella?" he said softly.

Fang smiled and nuzzled her lovingly.

[Abbster]

“Hm?” Bella asked. “Im ok.” She said. “It’s just….I….well……I was thinking that if you sent someone else to lead it then….you and I could…talk some more” she said

Thunder smiled "Ok, I like that idea" he said with a smile, ducking back out to go find the others... who had been suspiciously quiet. He didn't see Brutus or Snowflake, or Duke or Coco yet, but he knew they'd be back soon. "Fang, Rebel" he barked, then glanced around. Where was Askari? It would be good for her to go too. Finally he caught sight of her tawny pelt under the trees. "Askari" he barked and she stood, slinking up to him, her body low in the loner way. "Yes Alpha?" she asked quietly. "I would like you to accompany Fang and Rebel on a scouting mission, an intruder's paw print was detected on the border, and we must be sure he is not watching us" he said firmly. Askari gave a nod and moved away, waiting for the other two.

Lulu looked up as her mates name was called. “Go” she said, licking his muzzle. “I’ll be here waiting for you” she promised.

Clover licked Fang. “Have fun!” She said as their pups began nursing again.

Bella lay herself down by her pups and heaved a small sigh as she waited for thunder to return.

Rebel sighed "I'll be back soon" he promised as he padded out of the den.

Fang nuzzled her with a smile "Hopefully it will be more peaceful" he said as he liked her nose then padded out, meeting Rebel and giving him a nod as Askari slunk behind them. "Fang, you know where to go. I want a thorough sweep of a good few mile radius of that area" he said firmly. Fang nodded. "Of course Thunder" he said seriously, nodding to the two and loping into the forest. Thunder watched them go, then padded back to his mate.

Bella felt her eyes close ever so slightly and she felt herself begin to drift off to sleep. Although she heard her mates paw steps and her eyes snapped open. She smiled. “Hey” Bella said.

Thunder padded in and nuzzled her. "Hey" he responded, laying down next to her and grooming her fur.

“I just started dozing and now you’re going to make me fall asleep!” Bella said as her eyes were in slits as her mate groomed her. “Thunderrrrr” Bella muttered, her eye lids drooping.

Thunder laughed and made his movements even more rhythmic. "Well if you're sleepy you can sleep" he murmured into her fur.

Bella smiled and her eyes ended up closing. She moved her head to her mates back and as he continued to groom her, she fell asleep swiftly. Daisy looked at her father. “Dada, are you and mama fighting?” She dared to ask. “Are you stupid Daisy?” Saylor asked with a growl.

Thunder smiled as she fell asleep, nuzzling her then continuing grooming her before looking over in surprise. "Saylor, don't call your sister names!" he reprimanded gently. "No Daisy, we aren't fighting, we love each other" he said gently.

“Well she is stupid!” Saylor said. Daisys ears flattened and she sniffled racing to her father and pressing into him. Bella’s eyes opened. “Whats going on?” She asked. “Say,or called me stupid!” Daisy said. Bella looked at Saylor. “Domt call your sister stupid” Bella said. “Thats what dada said” Saylor said. “Listen to him, and let mama go back to sleep” Bella said, curling up by her mate again.

Thunder growled slightly "SAYLOR" he said seriously, then nuzzled his mate "It's ok, i can handle it, you sleep" he said softly, then looked over with a frown to Saylor, waiting for Bella to fall asleep again before he spoke seriously. "Saylor, I don't ever want to hear you say that to your sister again." he said.

Saylor nodded. “I’m sorry Daisy” Saylor said. “It’s ok Saylor” Daisy said. The pups scrambled out to play to let their mother sleep…who slept for a little while longer before her eyes opened. “Are they ok?” She asked.

Thunder kept an ear tilted outside the den, and it was only a few moments before he heard Drake speaking to the pups in his gruff tone. He relaxed, knowing his Beta was watching them. When his mate woke he nuzzled her "They're fine, Drake is keeping an eye on them outside" he promised.
