Autumn nodded in agreement, snuggling against her mate and licking his muzzle lovingly. "I love feeling safe" she said with a sigh "And I think it will be good for our pups, sheltered and protected as they seem they will be here" she said, then shook her head a bit "I am a little, but I'm more hungry right now" she admitted "Do.. do you think they might have some food they could spare?" she asked hesitantly.

Thunder smiled then looked thoughtful, glancing at the sky "Most likely just after High Sun" he responded.

Rebel's grin widened, his tail quickening it's pace "Oh Lulu!! I..I can't believe it!! I love you, you love me... I mean.. wow!" he said, then moved closer to her and nuzzled her suddenly before suddenly stilling. "Lulu.. if... if I asked you... to be my... my mate, would it be at all possible for you to say yes?" he asked, rushing through the last part, his heart beating hard.

[Abbster]

Atlas smiled. "of course my darling!" he said, licking her. "I'll be right back, I promise." Atlas said. "I can see if Thunder can keep watch outside our den while I'm gone" Atlas added, licking his mate lovingly before padding outside. He reached Thunder, and dipped his head. "Autumn is requesting food" He said. "She prefers when I hunt for her, would it be alright if you kept watch outside our den while I'm gone?" Atlas asked. "I...I'm just nervous about leaving her.." he said

Aurora suddenly piped up. "can I do it?" she asked, looking at Thunder and then Atlas

Lulu gasped. "oh Rebel! That's all I've wanted!" she said, pressing close to him.

Autumn smiled thankfully and nodded. "Thank you darling" she said, watching him trot out, listening as his paw steps faded, and hoping to hear more approaching soon.

Thunder looked over as he heard the newcomers voice, bristling slightly as the dog requested him to stand outside their den. He was about to sternly suggest that a guard do so, when Aurora piped up. He paused. "You certainly may go hunting, although i'd avoid the south end as that is where the hunting party departed, and i doubt any prey will remain in that area" he advised, then gave a slight nod to Aurora "I'd prefer if you take Askari with you though, just to be sure" he said with a smile.

Rebel gave a wide smile and nuzzled her, then suddenly licked her nose, wiggling happily. "Thank you thank you thank you Lulu!! I can't believe it!! My mate!" he gave a happy bark.

[Abbster]

Aurora nodded. “Yay! Thank you!!” She said, racing to Askari. “Hi Askari” Aurora said.

Atlas dipped his head to the alpha, and raced out of the camp, sniffing the air until he caught sight of a hopper. His eyes brightened. “Autumn loves hoppers!” He said, eyes glowing. He sniffed the air. “That way!” He said, racing towards the scent. When he found it, he lowered himself to the ground, and stalked towards the hopper. He landed on top of the hopper and killed it with a bite to the neck. His tail wagged happily as he picked up the hopper in his mouth and trotted back to the packs camp.

Lulu blushed hard and she licked his nose. “I love you” she whispered.

Thunder nodded to the two, then continued into the den, smiling to Bella and settling down beside her as their pups began waking.

Askari jumped to her paws from where she was laying in the shadows as a golden blur raced up to her with excitement. She relaxed as she saw it was the new pup, giving her a slight smile. "Hello Aurora, what is it?" she asked quietly.

Rebel smiled, his eyes shining as he licked her ear happily "Oh I love you too Lulu!! I Love you so much!!!" he said.

“Well, there’s these two new dogs in the pack. Atlas and Autumn. Anyway. Atlas is out hunting for his mate right now. But she’s heavily pregnant, and he asked if we could watch his den entrance” she said. Aurora was the only dog that Askari felt comfortable with. It was probably because she was still a pup, and was easier to talk to than adult dogs.

Bella looked up. “Hi darling” she said as she nuzzled her pups towards her belly so they could all nurse.

Atlas trotted back with the hopper in his mouth. His gaze brightening as he saw two dogs sitting outside his den. He padded over. “Thank you for keep watch” he said to them both, dipping his head to them before padding inside. “My darling Autumn” Atlas said, “I’ve brought you a hopper” he said,

Lulu blushed harder. “Do..do you want to…see if we can get are own den?”

Askari looked surprise at this news, then nodded "Ok, we should probably go there quickly then" she said in her quiet reserved voice, swiftly loping off, following her nose to find the right den.

Thunder nuzzled her happily "Well, new things happening every day!" he said with a chuckle.

Askari jumped slightly as a large munsterlander padded up to the den with a hopper in his mouth. She dipped her head at his words, then took the immediate opportunity to trot back to her den, glancing over to see if the pup had left as well.

Autumn looked up and smiled brightly "Oh Atlas, my favorite!" she said happily, her tail thumping against the bed.

Rebel blushed and then nodded excitedly "Oh I'd LOVE that!" he said energetically.

Bella chuckled. “Yes. That’s true” she said. “Aurora and Liberty joined us yesterday. And Autumn and Atlas join us today!” She said, licking his ears. “And soon, new menders will be joining us when Autumn gives birth” she added.

Atlas smiled. “I know. And it’s a nice plump one as well” he said, nosing the hopper towards his mate. “When you’re feeling up to it, what do you say we have a look around?” Atlas suggested, laying down beside his mate and watching with pride as she ate hungrily. He nuzzled her belly from time to time and would lick her ears.

Aurora passed after Askari. “Askari…” she said. “Would…would it be ok if I stayed with you until Clover and Fang returned?” She asked

Lulu smiled. “Well Remmie is hunting right now…so we’ll have to ask the alpha” she said

Thunder nodded "It's good the pack is growing" he said with a happy smile, nuzzling her.

Autumn smiled "thank you darling" she said, swiftly beginning to dig in hungrily. At his question she lifted her head and nodded "I'd love to! This pack seems so nice" she said happily.

Askari turned, slowing and looking a bit nervous at the idea, then giving a slight nod "If you want to, of course you can" she said in her soft voice.

Rebel smiled widely and nodded "Let's go!" he said excitedly.

Bella nodded. “Yea…Espically with all these uprights moving about” Bella said, shuddering at the thought as their pups nursed hungrily. “Honestly, I’m glad the pack is growing” she said. “And that every dog is healthy”

Atlas nodded and sat up in his paws as he waited for his mate to finish eating.

Aurora smiled. “Thanks” she said, catching up to her. “Oh that reminds me. When do you think they’ll return?” She asked.

Lulu nodded and followed to the alphas den with her mate.

Thunder nodded with a frown, then smiled again "Yes, we are lucky, and I love that we seem to be a safe haven for other dogs" he said.

Autumn finished eating after a few minutes, nibbling the small bones then giving a happy sigh and nuzzling her mate. "Thank you darling, I think I'm ready to get up now" she said, beginning to push herself to her paws.

Askari gave a very small smile, then blinked, glancing at the sun "I'd say soon, an hour or so" she said quietly.

Rebel smiled and trotted off to the Alpha's den, pausing outside and giving a soft bark "Excuse me, Alpha? May Lulu and I come in for a moment?" he asked respectfully. Thunder looked to his mate, then turned and let out an affirming bark "You may enter" he said, waiting for the two to come in.

Bella nodded in agreement then looked up as Rebel and Lulu padded in. Bella nudged her mate gently. She knew what they were coming for. Two dogs didn’t come in together at the same time unless they’re reporting something.

Atlas leaned against his mate and helped her up. “We shall return when you need rest” he promised. “We’ve walked for days. I’d say a few hours of rest wouldn’t hurt anyone” he admitted, licking Autumn between her ears.

Aurora sighed. “I miss them” she suddenly said.

Lulu padded into the alphas den. Smiling at the four pups who were nursing at the Lunas belly.

Thunder smiled at the two dogs and waited for them to speak. Rebel looked to Lulu for a moment, then stepped forward, looking excited and sheepish at the same time, with a half grin on his face and blushing. "I.. um Lulu and I are mates!" he decided to announce, smiling over at her. Thunder smiled broadly "I am so glad for you both!!! This is wonderful news!" he said, beaming.

Autumn nodded in agreement "Just a small walk" she surmised, beginning to pad forward slowly.

Askari glanced over. Oh no. What was she supposed to do with a sad pup? "Well I'm sure they'll be back soon" she said again, shifting uncertainly.

Bella smiled as well. "congratulations!" Bella said, smiling big, and dipping her head to them. "I suppose you're here to ask for a den?" Bella asked.

Atlas nodded and he and Autumn walked out of their den. The two looked around the packs camp and Atlas smiled. "see darling" he said. "we're safer here than we would be out in the forest" Atlas promised, licking her ear lovingly as they padded into the clearing.

Aurora sighed, but nodded and sat down. "so" she said. "whats it like being a guard?" she asked

Rebel grinned happily and nodded "We were hoping to get a den to ourselves" he affirmed. Thunder smiled and rose to his paws. "I'd be glad to show you to one" he said warmly.

Autumn padded beside her mate, looking around and sighing slightly at the feeling of peace and calm amongst the pack, a few dogs were laying in the sunlight resting, and it made her feel very safe. She smiled and nuzzled him "We definitely are" she agreed happily.

Askari shifted again as the pup spoke again "Uhm, well... I usually don't do much guarding unless i'm on the night watch or unless I go on a patrol. Being a guard means you have to be alert all the time, which I'm used to anyway" she said, shifting again.
