Bella sighed. "fine" she mumbled, walking back to the den entrance and sitting down with a sigh. She put her paws out and lay down on her belly, resting her head on her paws, as still sadness clouded her gaze.
Atlas trotted through the pack, until he found the alpha. "my alpha" he said, dipping his head, smiling at the pups. "is there anything you would like for me to do?" he asked

Thunder sighed as his mate turned away, turning his attention swiftly to the pups, who were still playing, then sitting again. He would have to wait until they were done playing to go make things right again. At the sound of a voice, he looked over, giving a slight inclination of his head as the dog padded up. "Ah, Atlas, how very noble of you to offer your services. I am sure that if you go speak with my Beta, Drake, he will find you something that will help the pack" he said with a slight smile.

Atlas nodded, but he noticed Bella before he left. “Is…is she ok?” Atlas asked, meaning Bella.

Thunder looked over and sighed, then nodded slightly "She is now, she was sick from the Upright food they fed her, but she is recovering" he said quietly.

Atlas nodded. He knew that the Luna didn’t look ok, but that wasn’t his place to say. “My alpha…I know this isn’t my place to say this.” Atlas said. “She….she doesn’t look ok” atlas said, before he trotted over to Drake.
Bella sighed, and she felt her ears flatten behind her head. “It’s not fair.” Bella mumbled under her breath.

Thunder's expression hardened slightly at that. It certainly wasn't the newcomer's place to say anything of the sort. But still, he turned and padded over to his mate. "Darling, you can't be angry with me for just wanting you to rest up and heal" he pointed out gently.

Bella looked up. “I’m not mad at you” she said. “It’s just not fair…” then she trailed off. “Thunder, if you’re here, who’s watching the pups?” Bella asked, as she stood up, and padded back into the sunlight…each time the sun hit her, she grew dizzy again. Bella blinked, and she stumbled in her paws a little bit.

Thunder nuzzled her swiftly "I know darling, and it's ok, i can see them from here" he said, swiftly moving forward to steady her and bring her back to the shade. "Don't worry, I promise i have this handled" he said, looking back over to the playing pups.

Bella sighed, but she nodded and licked her mates ear. “Go be with them” Bella said. “I promise, I’ll be ok” Bella said…although….she didn’t feel ok, she didn’t feel ok at all. Her heart…was telling her she didn’t want thunder to leave her, while her mind….said otherwise. As he began leaving, Bella let out a little…wail. “Thunder…wait” Bella begged.

Thunder licked her nose then nodded, padding away then spinning and swiftly moving back to her side. "What is it?" he asked worriedly.

“I…I need you” Bella whispered. “My mind tells me to let you go to our pups, but my heart is telling me that I need you more.” She said…as her stomach began hurting. Bella groaned a bit. “My stomach…hurts” she said, suddenly leaning forward and vomiting again.

Thunder nuzzled her, then stepped back slightly, his eyes growing worried. "Ok, I'm going to go get Liberty" he said worriedly, turning and padding out a few steps to howl for her before returning to his mates side and laying beside her.

Liberty raced over. “Thunder…” she broke off. “Ok. Bella come with me” Liberty said, nudging her up. “Thunder. You need to stay with the pups, she’ll be fine, I promise.” Liberty said, holding Bella steady as she walked back to her den with her. When they got there, she gave Bella some herbs, and then a ball of moss soaked water. “Drink this” Liberty said. Bella leaned forward and lapped at the water, before eating the herbs. Bella then closed her eyes from the sleeping herbs, she fell asleep. Liberty padded out of her den and over to Thunder. “A word” she said, looking at Drake and nodding to him asking him to watch the pups.

Thunder nodded, but looked very worried as he followed them outside, but staying beside the pups, waiting. He half smiled at them as they played, his mind occupied with worry. Finally Liberty came out and he swiftly stood, nodding to Drake as he looked to his Alpha for confirmation, not going to take orders from simply the healer. At the nod he moved to the pups and smiled at them slightly.
Thunder looked worriedly to Liberty. "Ok, is she still sick? How bad is it?" he asked.

Liberty shifted a bit. “Thunder that’s the thing…” Liberty said. “I…I think…the uprights food…poisoned her.” She said. “Which means…it most likely got into her milk…which also means that the pups could…be sick as well” Liberty said, shifting a bit again. “I’ve given her sleeping herbs…but I need the pups to come to my den…to be sure. They nursed this morning, and if the uprights food poisoned Bella, then it would’ve gone to her milk, which the pups drank”
