Thunder dampened the smile on his face and solemnly reached over to grab his wayward daughter, taking her off his mates back and placing her back beside her siblings. "Like your mother said, no jumping on backs" he repeated.

Saylor whined and tilted her head at her father, and then began rolling around with Willow. "Thunder" Bella said gently, looking down as Sage and Daisy began rolling around together.

Thunder chuckled as the pups began energetically pouncing on each other, then nodded. "Right, outside pups!" he said, nudging them to their paws.

Bella watched...with almost sadness in her gaze that she couldn't be with them that morning...or for the entire day....or with her mate for that matter. Bella looked down at her paws, and then lay her head on them, heaving another sigh

Thunder looked back as he was about to step out after the pups. "I'll come in soon darling" he said softly before ducking out with the pups.

Bella smiled, but her eyes were still filled with sadness. Daisy looked up at her father, as she realized her mother had not followed them out. "mama?" she asked, looking back at the den

Thunder smiled down to his oldest. "She has to stay in the den and rest today" he explained.

Daisy tilted her head at her father, as if saying...why? Saylor too looking up at her father, and she whined, sitting down on her paws, and looking back towards the den with sad eyes.
Atlas yawned, and stirred. He nuzzled his mate and pups, who were currently nursing. Atlas smiled. His pups. He nuzzled his mate gently. "good morning my Autumn" he whispered softly

Willow was tumbling around with her brother when she noticed her siblings quietly with her father, and swiftly padded up, sitting down and looking around in confusion. What was the big deal? OH wait where was Mama? She looked up at her father as well. Thunder sighed. "She's just feeling a little bit weak, but she'll be ok. We have to stay outside to play so she can get her rest" he said.
Autumn smiled at her mate and nuzzled him. "Good morning Atlas" she said happily.

Daisy blinked and let out a yip before racing towards her little sister...her favorite little sister, bouncing on top of Willow, and grabbing her tail in her tiny sharp teeth, growling playfully.
Atlas smiled. "sleep well my love?" he asked

Thunder smiled as they went back to playing. willow growled and grabbed her sisters ear.
Autumn smiled and nodded "I did" she said, nuzzling him again.

Bella could hear the pups playing outside the den. She wanted to be with them, so she stood to her paws, but knew that if Liberty caught her outside, she would make her go back in the den. Did Bella care? Not really. She just wanted to be with her pups. Slowly, Bella padded out of the den and nudged her mate gently.
Atlas smiled. "good" he said. "I hate to leave you and the pups, but I am going to see if the alpha needs anything done from me" he said, licking his mates ear

Thunder looked over and immediately his eyes grew worried. "Bella, you can't!" he said, then nuzzled her "if you have to be out here, lay down, so you aren't using up your energy, and stay in the den entrance so you can be in the shade" he said firmly.
Autumn smiled and licked his nose "I understand, we must do all we can as they have been so kind to us" she agreed softly.

Bella growled angrily. "Don't you go treating me like you did when I was pregnant with the pups!" She said. "I promise, I'm fine!" Bella insisted, as the sunlight suddenly made her dizzy. She blinked a bit. "Thunder" she said, looking at him. "I'm sorry...I just want to be with you...and our pups." she whispered.
Atlas nuzzled her. "I'll be back so soon" she promised

Thunder frowned at her reaction. "I'm not darling, but you were just sick, i'm just caring for your own health. You can see us and still be with us from the den entrance" he pointed out, then licked her nose. "I know my sweet Belle" he said understandingly.
Autumn nodded, laying her head down as he left.
