Thunder turned his head and licked her nose with a loving smile "Good morning my darling Belle, did you sleep well?" he asked.

Fang sprang up in the air as his mate yelled his name, his daughter then nudging him to fully wake him, almost hitting the ceiling before coming back down, his fur frazzled, eyes darting around. "Clover, what is it? Where is whatever it is? What do you need me to do?" he asked, looking around as his heart beat hard from the violent awakening.

Bella nodded. "I did" she said. "did you?" she asked. "I haven't had a good sleep like that in a month" Bella said, fully meaning it. The last month...Bella had barley slept.

Clover blushed hard. "Fang, I need you to be the best father you can to our pups" She said, eyes glowing. Aurora kept reaction down, as she waited for her father's reaction...but inside, she was squealing.

Thunder smiled broadly "I'm so glad my darling!" he said, fully aware of his mate's problems sleeping.

Fang blinked, his mind just waking up. "PUPS?" he suddenly yelled, his tail becoming a blur as his eyes shone. "you mean... for real... a father.. you're a mother! Aurora you're gonna be a big sister! Oh Clover!! PUPS!" he said, suddenly hugging her and then licking her face all over excitedly, before stopping suddenly. "Wait, i got that right... right?" he checked to be sure.

Bella smiled. "I didn't have any bad dreams" she said, smiling again.

Clover nodded. "yes!" she said. "I'm gonna have pups" Clover said, licking his muzzle as Aurora began squealing. "I'M GONNA BE A BIT SISTER!!!!" She rushed over to her parents and pressed into them. Clover licked her adopted daughter, and then her mate again. "We're having pups" she said, eyes glowing with pure happiness.

Thunder smiled and licked her nose "i'm so glad!" he said truthfully happy.

Fang grinned happily and hugged his mate, then hugged his daughter, then hugged them both, then licked his mate's face again. "Oh I love you Clover, I love you Aurora, I can't wait to have more pups!!!" he said, overjoyed

“Now, Fang” Clover said suddenly. “Just because I’m pregnant, I’m begging you. Please don’t protect me every time we go hunting.” She said. “Now what I am saying is that I won’t hunt every single day” she said. “But I’m just asking you don’t turn into one of those over protective mates when they’re mate becomes pregnant” Clover said, licking his muzzle.

Bella looked at her mate. “Call the pack together, so we can spend the day together.” Bella suggested.

Fang blinked, then nuzzled her "Ok darling, I promise... but you can't expect me not to protect you at all!" he reasoned hopefully.


Thunder smiled and licked her nose with a nod. "Of course darling"

Clover chuckled. “I knew you’d say that” she said as she and her family padded out of their den. She could see the alpha leaving his den. She smiled. “I’ll meet you up there.” She said, racing up to Thunder. “Thunder” she said, dipping her head. “I habe some exciting news” she said. “Well…fang and I have some exciting news”

Fang grinned and licked her nose again, then raced after her with a happy grin.

Thunder padded out of his den, then looked over in surprise as Clover raced up to him, Fang behind her. He smiled at them both, a small inkling of what it could be in the back of his mind. "Well do tell me!" he said warmly.

Clover could barely hold her excitement as her family padded up beside her. “Aurora. Would you like to do the honors?” Clover asked. “Really?” Aurora asked. Clover nodded. “Ok” she said. “I’m gonna be a big sister!” She squealed

Fang smiled and nodded in agreement.

Thunder gave a delighted smiled and gasp "Oh Clover, Fang, Aurora, I'm so pleased!! Congratulations!" he said with a warm smile to them all. "Would you like me to announce it to the pack this morning?" he queried.

Clover looked at her mate, and when he nodded, she looked back at him and nodded. “Yes we would like that” she said, licking her mate. Aurora danced on her paws, when she suddenly spoke up. “Um..thunder sir” she said. “When will I begin my training to be a scout, guard or hunter?” She asked him.

Fang nodded, beaming happily. Thunder smiled, then looked down to Aurora in surprise. "Well now... training usually begins when you are a year old" he said, then smiled slightly "But for you, I think we can make a slight exception. After all, you must be prepared to be a big sister! If you wish, come speak to me later today, and we will talk" he said with a smile. It was customary for him to have a long talk with any pup wishing to begin their training, do tell if they were truly ready, and if the role they wanted was right for them.

Aurora began hopping excitedly as she nodded and trotted back to sit with her parents as Thunder jumped onto the log to begin his morning announcement.

Just before hand, Bella had finished feeding their pups and was now nudging them out of the den for their fathers morning announcements

Thunder smiled at her excitement, then moved to the log, leaping up with an agile bound and lifting his muzzle to the morning sky, letting his deep howl echo into the air.
