Jinx opened her eyes still somewhat tired "Hey Vidra what's up" she said trying to hide the fact that she also had a terrible dream her fur was fluffed up from the dream but relaxed as soon as Jinx opened her eyes she was glad to be woken up even if it was just to chat.

The spiked fur flattening didn't get past Vidra, and her eyes softened with concern. Keeping her tone light she yawned, then spoke "Well it's daytime, and i figured we should get scrounging for food." she paused a second, glancing around again, then spoke haltingly. "Do.. do you know where Cyrus went? I didn't hear him come back last night" she said, keeping her eyes fixated on a suddenly incredibly interesting branch.

"I think he took off towards the sport field I only caught a glimpse of him as he ran off" she said yawning she jumped off the park bench and streched her stomach was growling for food then she remebered the burgers they had last night they had been so good her dry dog food was only a faint memory at this point "I will go get us some food you go fetch Cyrus" she said as she looked at Vidra

Cyrus would yawn and stretch he barely remebered where he had fallen asleep he had been so tired the burgers he had gotten them were so good he barely remebered the dog food he used to eat "what is this place is this were the kids used to kick a black and white ball around" he said mainly to himself

Vidra nodded, it seemed like a solid plan. "We can meet back up at this bench" she added. Strangely enough she wasn't as hungry as she thought she'd be, most likely the result of being starved for a few days, her stomach must be so shrunken it didn't think it needed food. With one more smile of encouragement to Jinx, hoping she would be able to find them some sort of sustenance, she turned and began loping off towards the open area, which she assumed was the sports field. It only took a few minutes for her to reach the big grassy area, and she slowed as she saw the dark shape of the aussie standing up. "Cyrus!" she called as she trotted towards him.

"Okay I wish you luck Vidra" she said before taking off towards the forest she could smell a deer but where was it was the question she carefully walked along the forest before seeing the deer she checked the wind direction before sneaking up on the deer and leaping onto it to bring it down her teeth went deep into the deer's neck and killed it she jumped off as it gave it's last few twitchs and it's last breath she looked at the deer struggling to figure out how to bring it back she grabbed the deer with her teeth and started to drag it she then somehow managed to get the deer on her back it was heavy far heavier then Lance had been she carefully made her way to the beach panting pretty hard from the sheer weight of the deer.

Cyrus looked up to see Vidra "Oh hey Vidra what's up" he said as she approuched him he was pretty chill right now however he couldn't stop thinking of what to say to Vidra he shook his head and body trying to get rid of some of the dew that landed on his fur when he had fallen asleep.

Vidra smiled "Hey" she replied "Jinx just went out to get us some breakfast" she added, watching with amusement as he attempted to remove the dew from his fur. "And that is why you don't sleep in a field" she said jovially, grinning to let him know she wasn't judging.

Jinx gently dropped the deer onto the beach she walked towards the beach shore and drank some water well she waited for Vidra and Cyrus to come to the beach her long coat was somewhat dirty from running into the woods some burrs were sticking to her coat she could remove some of them but she needed help to remove the ones that were more tangled in her fur.

Cyrus smiled at Vidra "I guess we better go join her then" he said his tail slightly wagging the dew strangely had felt cool on his fur it wasn't that he didn't like water he just didn't like rain it made him really damp and then his fur was plastered to his body he looked at Vidra waiting for her to say something or start moving he wasn't sure why a police dog would ever think of being in a pack wasn't there handler the pack leader he thought.

Vidra nodded, attempting not to grin at the rather flattened dog in front of her. Gosh he was a comical one! "Alrighty, let's go then, I could use a good snack right about now" she said, motioning with her head as she turned in the direction, the smell of fresh meat tickling her nostrils.

Jinx would wait for Vidra and Cyrus to arrive her long fur keeping her warm from the cold drifting air from the beach shore "Where are they this deer took a lot out of me to catch I hope they appericiate it" Jinx said her stomach was growling for food she hadn't eaten since Cyrus brought the burgers last night she guarded the deer until they arrived trying not to eat her catch was hard all she could think about was sinking her teeth into the deer and eating it .

Cyrus would follow Vidra to what looked like a beach he could see Jinx standing over something large he wondered what she had caught for them to eat she seemed to have good hunting insticts compared to him "Let's join Jinx I bet she is as hungry as we are" he said as he made his way towards Jinx a scent he had never smelled suddenly caught his nose what was it this scent was unlike anything he knew it looked like one of the weird things humans called a deer whatever that was

Vidra trotted over to Jinx, her eyes widening at the sight of the deer. "Nice kill!" she complimented, sniffing the carcass appreciatively. She was honestly surprised that the dog had been able to take down a deer, and all by herself! "Well, shall we dig in?" she asked, glancing at Cyrus as well.

Dart ran as fast as she could down the alleyway, eyes wide with fear as three snarling dogs raced after her. Their booming barks echoed around her along with the tapping of claws on the stones underfoot. The closest one leapt foreward and sank its jaws around her hind leg, making her stumble and fall with a yelp of pain. In instinct she whirled around and bit at its ears, giving her just enough room to yank her foot from its mouth and take off again. As she darted away again she spotted a hole under a fence and wiggled her way under it right as they caught up to her. They howled in rage and slammed into the wooden planks, but the fence held steady. After a little while they lost interest and slowly left, snarling in annoyance. The lone husky panted with exhertion, whining in pain as she rose to her paws and peeked her head out of the hole, sniffing the air with a shaky snout. Once she was sure she was alone she crawled out of the hole and limped down the alley away from the direction of the three dogs. She panted heavily as the walked with a jerky rhythm, keeping her weight off her injured back leg. She licked her dry lips as her nose caught a scent on the wind. Raising her head up and sniffing deeply she turned to see a green park, and the smell of water coming from it. She eagerly limped in the direction she smelled the water, so focused she didn't even notice the smells of other canines in the park.
