A Trios Journey (private rp with wingfeather and tenebria)

Sugar smiled and hugged her friends hard. "I wouldn't be able to be this far from home without you guys" she nickered softly to her friends before stepping back. "so. where do we wanna go first?" she asked, looking around curiously

Galmúr blinked in sudden surprise as Artemis enveloped him in a hug. After a moment of shock he quickly returned the hug "And I wouldn't be able to handle any of this without you both" he said, looking gratefully to both the fillies. At Sugar's question he smiled "Well, we only have two options, since we came from one direction and the river is blocking the other direction. I don't mind which we explore first, but while we do explore we should make sure we know where we're going so we don't get lost" he said quickly.

''Ok, let's go,'' and with that Artemis trotted into the forest. Looking at her friends she said, ''we are walking deeper south, so when we come back we just have to remember to go north again, or follow the river.''

“I hope we don’t run into the other herd..” Sugar muttered as she kept pace with her two friemds

Galmúr nodded "That's sensible" he remarked in response to Artemis, then glanced down to Sugar. "Oh we shouldn't, remember, Nacho said they weren't in the forest" he said reassuringly. As he walked he began to look around, taking in the beautiful forest scenery.

''When do you think we should meet them?'' Artemis asked, taking in the scenery.

[Abbster]

Sugar shrugged. “I don’t know…” she said. “Maybe we’ll just….feet one at a time?” She asked. Sugar looked down. “I don’t know if…if…if I want to see a herd if they’re just going to make us leave” she said.

Galmúr glanced over at Artemis again, then to Sugar. "I'm not sure... I.. I was thinking maybe it might be best if I went to meet them with Nacho first, just to make sure that they're actually friendly and it's safe for you two?" he suggested hesitantly.

Artemis looked at Galmúr, ''but we are a group- a trio and a trio sticks together, we will enter the herd together, and we will leave them together.''

[Abbster]

Sugar looked shocked at Galmur's idea. "But..." then Artemis spoke. "Yea, Artemis is right. We are the trio. We don't leave each other, we will go to the herd together, and if they only want Galmur, then we will leave" She said. "All of us. But Galmur....I don't think you should go alone" she said

Galmúr looked apologetic, flattening his ears slightly. "I was just thinking safety wise" he explained, then nodded swiftly "Of course, you're right ,we're a trio and we shouldn't split up" he agreed. He was slightly disappointed by Artemis's sure words... how she said they would leave together. In his mind, the main hope of this endeavor would be for the herd to accept them, and he preferred to go into it without negative thinking. Surely the herd, as small as it must be, would allow them to join!

Suddenly from behind them came a loud crashing of branches, Artemis swiftly spun around and saw that it was Nacho, ''Well there ye be's I were's passen through and saw that 'u'se three twerent there, exploring' the woods are we?'' he asked a friendly smile creasing his features.

Sugar nodded. "Yes" she said. "we are" she looked over at her friends and then back at Nacho. "do you know if the herd is nice...?" she asked, nervously, scared that her friends would be mad at her for asking a question she wasn't supposed to be asking when Galmur should be the one asking the question

Galmúr whirled around as a large crashing sounded from behind them, then relaxed as he saw the old donkey approach. He couldn't help but smile in response to Nacho's cheerful expression. "Yep, we wanted to check out the forest" he said, glancing over as Sugar suddenly asked Nacho about the herd again. "I think she's wondering if the herd is open to newcomers at all, or if they will be more likely to chase them away" he quickly revised. A herd could simply be nice, but whether or not they would let others join them was another matter entirely.

Nacho bent down and teared up some grass and began chewing on it thoughtfully, swallowing he answered, ''well now they might and they might not, I will say there is a reason why their herd is so small, but I dare say they will allow ye to enter if you pass the test.''
