"Yea, thats true" Sugar said, a dreamy look in her eyes as she thought about Gus. When she realized her eyes had a dreamy look about them, she snapped her head up. "Uhm..." she stuttered slightly, as she looked down at the ground. "You...you didn't see that...did you?" she asked, as she felt very awkward all of a sudden

Galmúr thought for a few seconds, then sighed and nodded "You're right, it probably is better, it won't be as sudden of a meeting, and they probably respect Nacho so they would most likely take his word better than ours" he admitted, then glanced over to Sugar as she spoke in a strange tone. Suddenly she blushed and glanced down. At her question he raised his eyes and glanced over to Artemis. If that look had meant what he thought it did... he decided to play dumb. "See what?" he asked.

Artemis did not want to embarrass Sugar further answered,'' what, where,'' looking around everywhere, as if trying to see what Sugar saw.

Sugar almost let out a breath of relief. "oh...nothing" she said, as she looked down at the ground again, her mind filled with images of Gus. Her eyes a dreamy look once again. She picked her head up and made herself look....normal? or as normal as she could get when she had a new crush. "Hey...uh...Artemis...can I talk to you for a second...alone?" Sugar asked

Galmúr almost grinned as he saw Artemis pretend as well, then glanced back over at Sugar before turning his eyes back to the path, so as not to trip on the tangling underbrush. When she spoke again he looked behind him again with a slight smile, knowing what it was about, then quickly wiped it off his face. "I'm fine if you two want to go have girl talk" he said with a teasing grin to Artemis "I want to take another dip in the river anyway" he added.

Artemis most definatly did not miss Galmúr look, she rolled her eyes on him,'' oh I will so get you for this, come on Sugar lets leave this colt to play by himself,'' she said playfully, flicking her tail she followed Sugar into the forest.

Sugar giggled, and when they were alone in the forest, Sugar turned and finally blurted it out. "I like Gus" she said. "Like...I think I have a crush on him.." she said, as she pawed the ground with embarrassment as she blushed hard. "I know we just met him...but he's so kind...and...sweet...and" she stopped. "YOU CAN'T TELL GALMUR!" She suddenly said, as she looked into Artemis' eyes. "Please! Don't tell him I like Gus!" She begged. "Gus is my first crush, so I'm kinda new to it....please Artemis, you can't tell!" she begged as she thought about Gus again. "thats why I had a dreamy look in my eye.." she said. "I really like him"

Galmúr snorted, glaring slightly after Artemis. Oooh she could rile him up at times. Still glowering in annoyance at being called a colt, he stomped off into the forest heading for the glade. But regardless of what she said, he was still going for a dip in the river. A nice calm, grown up dip. Not a playful colt. He snorted again, picking up speed as he headed for the sound of water.

''Don't worry,'' Artemis assured her, ''I won't tell. I think it is really nice that you like him, I can't exactly say that I know how you feel as I have never had a crush of any sort.''

[Abbster]

"That's why its new to me!" Sugar said. "It will probably all just pass tonight." She said. "And besides, its not like we're going to live in the herd with him" she said. "that would be a different story" she said, as she hugged her friend, and they trotted back out to find Galmur.

Galmúr grumpily trotted into the glade, heading straight for the river and carefully sliding down the bank into a slower part of the water where he could relax. He let out a slight sigh as the water covered his back, suddenly soothing his emotions. And as his feelings were lessened, he suddenly realized that he'd left the two fillies alone in the forest. Alone. A feeling of guilt suddenly flooded through him, and he could no longer enjoy his bathing. Swiftly he climbed onto the bank, shaking himself, about to trot back into the woods and find the two fillies.

''Why do you say that,'' Artemis asked hugging her friend back, and trotting beside her.

[Abbster]

“Because…” she said. “I don’t know if liking him is honestly the right thing for me. We might not even join the herd, and I have a crush on him” she said, not realizing Galmur was walking towards them. Sugar flattened her ears in embarrassment and she walked back towards Artemis. “Did…did you hear what I said…?” She asked,

Galmúr was just beginning to walk towards the woods when he saw the glint of Sugar's dappled grey coat through the trees, and let out a sigh of relief. Phew. His ears pricked slightly as he caught the sound of her talking in an almost melancholy tone. His keen hearing caught the sound of something that sound like "crush" and he grinned slightly to himself before trotting up to the two. At Sugar's question, he glanced at her. "Nope, couldn't hear a word" he said cheerfully, then looked over at Artemis. He knew that Sugar would probably feel very embarrassed if she knew that he knew about her little impulsive crush on Gus, and he was fine with keeping himself in the dark about it... at least for the time being.

Artemis returned Galmúr's glance and smiled, then asked ''So what do you both think of this test?''
