“I don’t like it” sugar admitted. “What if I fail?” She asked as she looked down at the ground. “I don’t want to leave you guys” she said

Galmúr looked thoughtful for a moment, then smiled reassuringly at Sugar. "Don't worry, we already promised each other all or nothing. Either all three of us get in, or none of us do" he said firmly, then added his own thoughts "I'm honestly excited about it... I think we'll all pass wonderfully, and it will be quite an experience to be tested, especially since I know that we'll crush it and leave them all in awe" he said with a fiery grin.

Artemis let out a sharp whinny of agreement, ''we sure will, what sort of tests do you suppose they are?'' she asked.

Sugar blushed when Galmur said the word crush. Sure she was thinking something else at that moment, but it was the same word. When Artemis spoke, she looked up. "well, I think maybe they will have us do some sort of racing?" Sugar said. "or something that has to do with speed, like Nacho said"

Galmúr spoke, thoughtfully yet with excitement "Probably quite a few differentiating things... i'd guess maybe a bravery test of some sort, and most likely some kind of fighting, but not dangerous" he said swiftly, glancing at Sugar. "And certainly a race... or maybe the entire thing will be an obstacle course of sorts, like we start at one spot and we have to get to the finish line within a certain time frame?" his mind began imagining quite a few things... rogue stallions, dangerous ravines, waterless traveling... who knew what might lie ahead of them!

Suddenly noticing Galmúr's damp hair, ''did you actually go swimming without me,'' she asked incredulously.

[Abbster]

"AND ME?" Sugar asked, as she laughed at the wet fur on her friends coat. "You know we love swimming!" Sugar said. "its our friend thing! Swimming together is our friend thing!" she said, not really sure if it had an actual name to it. She looked confused for a second. "I said that right...yes?" she asked

Galmúr snorted at the sudden change of subject, answering cooly as he suddenly remembered that he was annoyed with Artemis. "I went for a quick bathe, if you must know." he said in a slightly aloof manner. As Sugar spoke, he glanced to her "Well it's not like we won't get to swim again together. The river's not going anywhere" he said in a slightly offended manner. "You two went off to go have your little talk, so I figured that if I wasn't included in that, then I got to go for a quick dip by myself" he added in a self righteous tone.

''I suppose that's true,'' Artemis agreed reluctantly, shaking her mane suddenly, ''do you think we should rest or train,'' she laughed, ''sorry for the quick change of subject, but the thought just came to me.''

Sugar looked at Galmur. "I wanted to talk to Artemis alone because I told her I have a crush on Gus" She blurted out, flattening her ears. "Oh no..." she mumbled, as her face grew hot. "I....." she stuttered, as she looked down at the grass. "You....You weren't supposed to hear that" Sugar said

Galmúr blinked again, starting to become slightly befuddled by Artemis's quick subject changes. "Uhh well... I guess we have rested for a while, so we could train a bit with like a race through the woods or something?" he said trying to come up with something swiftly. As Sugar spoke he glanced over in slight surprise, then grinned "Oh that, I figured that out right away" he said calmly.

Artemis nodded at Galmur's answer, she looked surprised at Sugar's misthought of words but did not say anything.

"Whats wrong with you two?" she asked, as she looked from Galmur to Artemis and back again. "Galmur, you've been acting strange ever sense Artemis and I went to talk" she said

Galmúr was quite surprised by Sugar's sudden outburst, and it showed on his face. "What?" he said cluelessly, glancing at Artemis. "I have?" He said, then adding reluctantly "Ok, well maybe i was a bit annoyed with Artemis, but I can always get her back by beating her in the race" he said with a slight grin, then looking back to Sugar. "Honestly though, I haven't been trying to act strange" he said seriously.

''Sorry if I offended you Galmúr, I was just joking about calling you a colt, but as for the race,'' she said grinning at him, ''I don't think you made a valid point there,'' she said prancing a bit.
