"Oooo" Sugar said, as her mouth watered at the pure green grass. "now that, looks GOOD" she said, bending her head as she started to eat, her mouth chomping on the grass. "Ok" she said, through a mouth full of grass. "That is good!" She picked her head up and looked towards Galmur. "How did you know this grass was so good?" she asked him

Galmúr glanced over at Sugar as she began to graze as well, chuckling as she looked as if she had never eaten grass before. "Well that would be because I grazed this morning" he replied in amusement. Although he certainly did have to agree, it did have a certain pure, sweet taste to it.

After Artemis had taken her fill, she walked down to the weeping willow and laid down underneath in the shade to rest for a bit.

Sugar became full and she followed after Artemis a little while later, settling herself down beside her friend. "Do you think Gus likes me back?" she asked her, as she looked at the clouds in the sky above them

Galmúr remained grazing as his two friends eventually moved over to the willow's shade, knowing he'd need the energy for whenever the test would come. Besides, he realized, the other times that he had grazed he hadn't had as much time to eat as his instincts had been alerted, and he'd felt nervous and pressed to keep watch for danger. As he thought about their two days travel that had brought them to the forest, he couldn't help but snort slightly. The only slight danger they had only been in was not finding water the first day, and the small herd the second day. And to think he'd spent all that time standing watch at night, and during grazing hours. What a pity. Not that he truthfully wished for danger to happen... but couldn't something have happened so he could prove to the two fillies that he wasn't just a little colt as Artemis had said, even though she had taken it back afterwards. But her words still stung a bit, as he felt that the two fillies might actually think that way. Then he remembered, once again, the test. Surely in that time he'd be able to prove himself to the two! He'd prove that he was as grown up and courageous as any stallion, and they needn't fear if he was beside them. He began tearing the grass with determination, no longer tasting the sweetness of it, but instead beginning to daydream of how the test would go, the battles they would fight and races they would run, although most were highly exaggerated.

Artemis smiled at Sugar, ''how can anyone not like such a sweet, pretty filly like you?'' she asked. Here ears pricked at Galmúr's snort, ''You all right Galmúr?'' remembering times he had helped her whenever, she wasn't in the best spirits.

Sugar blushed and then looked over at Galmur. She tilted her head to the side. “Is he ok?” She whispered, as she stood up, and trotted over. “Galmur, what’s wrong?” She asked, as she nuzzled her friend caringly.

Galmúr quickly looked up as he heard Artemis's voice, swiftly trying to look relaxed and normal, smiling as Sugar nuzzled him. "Oh definitely, I was just thinking about the test tomorrow" he said, partly truthfully as he tried to sound light and carefree, although he couldn't make himself meet Artemis's eyes. She knew him the best out of everyone, and he felt that if he looked her in the eyes, she would see right through him. Certainly he wasn't about to admit what he was thinking to either filly. If he did, he was sure that they would just laugh at him for trying to imagine himself as any sort of courageous stallion, and he would be even worse off. No, he'd wait until he could truly prove himself.

Artemis knew that if Galmúr had somthing on his mind he would probably tell her eventually, so she did not push him.

Sugar flattened her ears...suddenly feeling like a third wheel to her friends. She looked down at the ground and then trotted back over to the willow tree, laying down under it and heaving a small sigh.

Galmúr relaxed as neither filly pressed questions, and continued grazing for a few moments. Hearing sugar trot away he glanced up, seeing her plop down under the tree, looking suddenly sad. Supposing it had something to do with either her past or the test, he chose to stay silent, dipping his head back to the grass.

Artemis also saw Sugar's expression, but decided that the young filly would talk about it when she was ready, and with that she fell into a peaceful sleep.

Sugar heaved another sigh and she closed her eyes, falling into a deep sleep that was filled with dreams of the test...dreams of her failing...dreams of Gus liking of her back...and him not liking her back. Sugar twitched and her tail flicked as she napped, but there was nothing she could do about stopping her dreams

Galmúr glanced over after a few minutes once again as the glade grew peacefully silent. He smiled to himself as he saw both fillies napping, and decided that it looked like quite the comfortable occupation. Trotting to the other side of the tree, he settled himself down as well, although he wasn't necessarily tired enough to fall asleep, instead just dozing peacefully.

Artemis woke, noticing her friends were still sleeping, she quietly stood up and walked to the stream, taking a long drink of water.
