Sugar nodded in agreement. "yes" she said. "Lets get started again"

Galmúr smiled at the two fillies and gave a brief nod "Onwards" he said with a slight gleam of adventure in his eye, still sparking despite the trials they had already faced. Swiftly finding the marked tree, he picked up a swift floating trot as they once again entered the woods.

''These woods seem peaceful enough, I wonder what our adventure will be,'' Artemis said.

[Abbster]

"I hope nothing to scary.." Sugar admitted through a bit of gritted teeth as she followed after her friends, her ears pinning now and again at the slightest noise. "how much more time do we have?" she asked, as she knew Galmur was keeping an eye on the sun and where it was at in the sky

Galmúr shook his head "I don't know" he said in a cautious tone as he kept his eyes firmly fixated on the trail, that is until Sugar's question. Swiftly he glanced at the sky, then back to the two fillies. "I think it's four past High Sun" he said after a moment "Which means we have about 5 hours left" he said with a slight frown. It seemed like a lot of time... but was it?

''Only four hours,'' Artemis exclaimed, ''wow it feels as if we have only out here for a couple of hours.''

[Abbster]

Sugar said nothing, but nodded in agreement. "I...I'm not feeling great, I don't think my legs can take much more" she said, as her legs had begun aching. "I know we need to keep moving, so I'm going to, but I don't know how much longer I can go for" Sugar said

Galmúr nodded slightly "It does seem so, doesn't it" he agreed, then glanced over to Sugar with a compassionate look. "I know Sugar... but i know you can do it! you've been so strong!" he encouraged. "I think we can just keep to a nice steady trot for now, that should give you time to recharge a bit" he added. Suddenly his hoof clacked loudly down on a slab of rock and he glanced down to the trail in surprise. Drastically, the landscape had changed. There were still trees here and there, but large rocks were now looming around them, and unless it was just his imagination, it seemed the trail was now slanting upwards slightly.

Artemis gave Sugar an encouraging smile before she had to duck quickly to get out of the way of a sudden rock, ''what-,'' she was rather surprised at the swift change in landscape.

Sugar glanced up, and once again, her legs began trembling. "wh....what is that?" she asked, looking up at the change in their path. Sugar flattened her ear in nervousness, as they began moving. "Galmur..." Sugar said, in a low voice. "I...I'm scared" she said

Galmúr frowned slightly taking his eyes off the trail for a moment as the two fillies noticed it as well. "I'm not sure, Sugar" he said, then nudged her gently "Hey, whatever it is you'll do awesome. You know that" he said reassuringly before turning his gaze back to the trail. The further they moved onwards, the more it slanted upwards, and the closer and larger the rocks became. Soon it seemed they were traveling through a canyon or ravine of sorts. "Stick close" he called back to the two, as they'd had to go into single file due to the closeness of the rock walls. "I think it might level off up there!" he said after a few moments, relief in his tone, even as his hoof slipped slightly on some loose rocks and he stumbled, catching himself on a patch of dirt and pushing himself upwards. "watch your step!" he called behind him.

Artemis took her place at the back of the the single file line and followed close behind Sugar.

Sugar went in the middle of her friends, as she was the smallest, she could slip the easiest, so having Artemis behind her, made it easier for her to feel secure. Although her legs were trembling, she kept up with Galmur, and looked back at Artemis from time to time, her eyes meeting her friends. "I...I can't do this" she would keep whispering.

Galmúr surged forward as he saw an opening and what seemed to be level ground up ahead, his muscles straining as he pulled himself up the last few feet. With a final thrust he found himself on level ground and gave a sigh of relief, moving forward so the two fillies could follow him before stopping to rest for a few moments, not bothering to look at the trail ahead, but instead looking down behind him. "I was right, it's nice and level right here" He called down to them, then turned his eyes to the trail, following it as far as he could and then letting out a horrified gasp. It was level all right... until it got to the ravine.

Artemis smiled up at Sugar, ''I'm sure we are almost there,'' she said. Silently she toiled upwards behind the two other horses until finally they came to level ground. Her eyes widened at the sight of the wide ravine, ''do we have to jump that!?''
