A Trios Journey (private rp with wingfeather and tenebria)

Sugar looked down. "Let me fix that" she said, galloping off and into the woods in front of them. She searched until she found cobweb. Grabbing some, she took as much as she could and galloped back to her friends. "ok Galmur, just lay down for me" she said. When he lay down, Sugar began plastering cobweb to his legs until the bleeding stopped. "there" she said.

Galmúr glanced over and smiled grimly "It's fine..." he trailed off in alarm as Sugar disappeared into the woods. "Sugar!" he called after her, then gave a sigh of relief as she returned. He was about to resist, but then he sighed and lay down. "Ok but just quickly" he said, waiting for her to put it on, then slowly getting to his feet again. It still throbbed and stung, but at least he wouldn't lose any more blood. "Thank you Sugar" he said with a smile, hugging her. "Ok, no more time to waste" he then said brusquely and picked up a quick trot.

Artemis watched with interest as Sugar applied the cobweb to Galmúr's leg once they continued walking, she asked Sugar, ''where did you learn that?''

[Abbster]

Sugar blushed little. "oh. My cousin Peaches is herd healer of our old herd" She said. "When I was bored, I'd go over to see Peaches, and she would tell me what I need to treat wounds" she said, confidently.

Galmúr glanced over curiously smiling at her words "Well, that's a really good skill!" he remarked before turning his attention back to the trail as it began sloping back downwards gently.

Artemis followed him, trotting beside Sugar, ''maybe, once we enter the herd, you can apprentice yourself to the herd healer. That is a noble skill.''

[Abbster]

"I love the idea...but that would mean separating from you guys, and I can't do that" Sugar said. "How...how am I supposed to just ask if I can be herd healer apprentice...if the herd doesn't like me right now?" she asked

Galmúr glanced back to Sugar in surprise "It wouldn't separate us, we won't be together 100% of the time in the herd anyway, i'm sure we'll all have different tasks and such" he said sensibly. "Well you can ask after we gain their respect when we beat the moon" he said with another grin. "They'll be only too glad to have you in their herd at that point"

''He's right,'' Artemis said, ''and if you want we can sleep together every night.''

[Abbster]

Sugar smiled. "I would like that" she said, with another smile. "alright, where to ne-" she was caught of as she fell into something. "what is this?!" she exclaimed, as she tried to move. "ITS PULLING ME DOWN!" She said.

Galmúr smiled at Artemis's suggestion "Exactly" he said then suddenly as he tried to step forward, his hooves were wrenched downwards just as Sugar yelled. "Artemis stay back!" he yelled at her, hoping she hadn't stepped forwards as well. "Sugar, Sugar, stop moving" he said carefully, stilling his entire body. "It's quicksand. The more you move, the more you'll sink." he explained swiftly, trying to keep his voice calm. "Artemis, are you stuck or not?" he asked, not wanting to turn his head.

Artemis was struggling to remove a hoof which had fallen in, with a sucking squelch she finally pulled it free, ''no, fine,'' she called. She looked around wildly for a vine. Quickly rushing to the tree line she she pulled down a thick creeper, bringing it back to where the two horses were slowly sinking. She through one end to Galmúr, as he was heavier than Sugar and was and was therefore sinking faster, ''grb on,'' she said between clenched teeth.

Sugar just stayed where she was as she began sinking deeper into the...quick sand. Her heart was pounding with fear, by the time the sand reached her lower neck. "HELP!" She screached.

Galmúr gave a relieved sigh at Artemis's voice, then glanced over in surprise as a vine plopped into the sand beside him. "Ok but pull me slowly, it'll work better" he said before lunging for the vine and clamping his teeth down on it hard, hoping desperately that it would work as he heard Sugar sinking deeper as she struggled.

Slowly Artemis began slowly walking backwards inching Galmúr out little by little, every muscle in her body straining as she pulled him out, when he was free she tossed the vine to Sugar.
