“I know.” Bella mumbled. “I think everyone is just a little bit nervous about it right now.” Bella said as she continued to groom her mate again. “I’m proud of you” Bella admitted.

Thunder growled slightly "Well that's true" he said, then sighed and nuzzled her "Thank you darling" he said softly.

“Of course my love” Bella said as she continued grooming again. “You had to do what was right, Rebel did slack off and that isn’t allowed so yes you had to demote him.” Bella said. “I know he doesn’t love that, but what you gotta do is what you gotta do.” Bella said. “You mate the right choice. Rebel may disagree, but you did.” Bella said

Thunder gave a sigh "Thank you darling, thank you for standing with me" he said, nuzzling her again and licking her nose. "I will not keep him demoted forever... I am sure he will show is loyalty and strength once again soon" he said with a relaxing sigh.

"I'm always here for you" Bella promised. "Through thick and thin, I'm not going anywhere" Bella promised her mate again as she groomed him softly. "We both know he'll show his loyalty again eventually, just give him time"

Thunder licked her muzzle "I know you are darling, I'm so grateful" he said softly, then sighed. "I know.. but it is hard. I hope others will see this and get serious as well" he said with a frown.

Bella nuzzled her mate. “I’m sure they will, you also have to think that he’s really worried about his brother and Ginger.” Bella said gently. “I know I would be” she said.

Thunder sighed "I know, but the whole pack is counting on his scouting when he goes out. Emotion can not be the cause of distraction" he said firmly.

"Thunder, we have other scouts" Bella pointed out. "They'll see what Rebel did and learn from his mistake, don't just blame it on Rebel. We have other scouts, not many...but we do, remember that" Bella said, licking her mate lovingly

Thunder nodded "I know" he said quickly "But recently Coco has been distracted as well and flighty, and i'm not sending Remus out until he feels ready" he said then snorted "Which means only Coco can do it right now" he let out a frustrated sigh.

Bella looked at her mate and she sighed. “I’ll give you some time alone.” Bella muttered to her mate. “I’ll be outside when you’re ready for me”

Thunder gave her a quick nuzzle and nodded, looking pensive "Thank you darling" he said quietly. She knew what he needed.

Bella stood up and padded out of the den. She sighed a little bit. She wanted to help her mate…badly….but this was the only way she could

Thunder settled his head on his paws, brow furrowed as he thought through what could happen in the next few days. With Rebel in guarding, perhaps he could bump Askari up to scouting, as she was already halfway of both. But she was so infrequent these days... could he count on her as well?

Bella turned and looked at her den and she felt her ears droop sadly. She gazed down at the ground and the settled herself down finally and lay her head on her paws. Sometimes having an alpha as her mate could be slightly difficult as she wanted to help her mate so badly.
