Fang smiled, his ears pricking curiously as he swiftly loped after the golden haired german shepherd. "Let's see if I know of this place" he said in a slightly teasing tone.

Thunder smiled and nodded, shifting slightly so the pups could wake up.
Willow heard her mothers voice and sleepily lifted her head, then wriggled out of the pile and immediately tackled her father's paw, nipping at it with her sharp little puppy teeth. "Easy there my little warrioress!" he said with a chuckle, gently picking her up by her scruff and setting her down next to her mother.

Brutus nodded quickly, eager to present his Luna with the hoppers... before the other two hunters arrived.

“Well hello Willow” Bella said with a smile. Daisy blinked open her eyes, and smiled, hopping over to her father and pouncing on his paws. She barked a little and looked up at him. Saylor shifted an opened her eyes, blinking a bit. She smiled as she saw her father, standing and scampering over to him.


Clover leaf the way to a nice rock and she padded on top of it, settling down and making space for Fang.

Snowflake smiled and passed to the alpha and Lunas den.

Willow growled slightly then nuzzled her mother. Sage woke up as his sisters scattered, swiftly getting up and looking over at his father before swiftly pouncing on Willow. Willow growled and nipped his ear and he quickly let go and nuzzled his mother. Thunder laughed at his pups antics, reaching down to nuzzle both his daughters and then push them back over to their mother with a loving look.

Fang padded along slightly behind Clover's shoulder as he followed her, smiling at the peaceful area she led him to. He jumped onto the rock and sat down beside her, looking over at her with a soft smile. "Well this is a peaceful place" he said in a quiet voice.

Brutus trotted after her, carrying his hopper.

Clover smiled and looked over at Fang. “Do you want to start? Or shall I?” She asked him.

Bella smiled. “Are you pups hungry?” Bella asked. Saylor let out a yip as did Daisy. Bella smiled and lay down as the pups scampered to her belly, settled down beside her and began nursing. Bella looked up as she heard paw steps.

Snowflake stopped at the den. “My alpha, my Luna, may we enter?” She asked, dropping the hopper.

Fang smiled "I do not mind, whatever you feel more comfortable with" he said seriously.

Willow let out a yip as well, Sage simply racing to her belly. Willow growled and shoved him over to get to the warm milk.

Brutus padded up beside Snowflake, waiting for the answer. Thunder looked up and gave a nod to the two. "You may" he said calmly. Brutus entered and dropped the hopper in front of his Alpha with a deep dip of his head.

"ok you four, theirs enough milk for everyone" Bella said, nudging Willow over a bit so they were all comfortable while they nursed. Bella looked up as Snowflake and Brutus padded in. Her eyes widened. "Hoppers!!" she said, smiling. She couldn't exactly move at the moment...as she was nursing four pups. "did you catch any fourlegs?" she asked, nuzzling her nursing pups.

Clover nodded. "ok, well, you already know my sister, Lulu" she said. "my mother died when we had just begun scout training" Clover said, thinking for a moment before she continued. "i believe you may remember my parents" she said. "They were Stormcloud, and Ruby" Clover said.

Snowflake smiled. "yes we did" she said. "its in the storage hole" she added

Willow gave a slight growl but swiftly latched on again. Thunder smiled as he saw the hoppers and heard his mate's eager exclamation, knowing how much she liked them, he moved forward slightly to pull one closer for her, dipping his head in thanks to the two hunters.
Brutus blinked at his Luna's words, then nodded as Snowflake seemed to understand, he catching on swiftly. "Yes, the longleg was a large one" he offered as he stepped back to Snowflake.

Fang listened intently, then nodded "I do remember them" he said softly, leaning over slightly to nuzzle her as she spoke over her parents. "They were good packmates and strong dogs" he added.

Snowflake smiled to her alpha and luna, dipping her head to them both before padding out of the den.

Bella smiled and nuzzled her mate as he nosed a hopper towards her. "thank you my love" she said, as she leaned forward and began eating the hopper as the four puppies nursed.

Clover smiled, and finished up telling Fang about herself, ending it with. "and I hope to have a mate one day, and pups of my own" she said, looking over at him, with a slight gleam in her eye. "what about you?" she asked

Brutus dipped his head again then turned and padded after Snowflake. Returning back to the open air, he glanced down the slight incline and gave a satisfied snort as he saw Duke and Ranger moving towards the storage hole with three hoppers. "We beat them" he said, motioning downwards.

Thunder smiled, pushing the other one over as well, then lovingly watching as his pups nursed hungrily.

Fang listened intently the Clover's life story, then smiled and blushed slightly at her last comment as she glanced to him. His smile faded slightly at her question, he shifting mildly uncomfortably. Now came the hard part... sharing his own past. Closing his eyes for a brief moment, he opened them and stared into the distant forest. "Unlike most in this pack, I was born in an Upright's home" he began.

"oh Fang" Clover whispered, pressing close to him. "If you think I will view you as an outsider" she said, licking him. "never think that" she said. "Fang...I love you, for you, not for your past." Clover said, licking him again. "Please, tell me more" she encouraged, pressing close to him again.


Bella smiled again, and looked at her mate. "are you sure you don't want any?" she asked.

Snowflake smiled brightly. "yes!" she said, smiling

Fang looked over to her, shifting as she leaned against him then sighing and nuzzling her. "Thank you Clover" he said softly "But you haven't heard the rest" he added in an even quieter voice. After a moment of collection, he continued. "My mother was what they call a breeder. I don't know who my father was. Before I was three months I was taken to another Upright's house. I do not remember much... there were bright lights that hurt my eyes, and strange crinkly stuff. There were Upright pups, and I remember they played with me all day. But then the next day" he paused. The hurt was still so strong. "the next night, they put me back in the strange square thing I came in, like a den except that it closed at the top. They put me in their roller, and then a long time later they suddenly stopped, took the den out of the car, and put me down, then i heard the roller go away down the thunderpath." he paused again. "It must have been during the Long Cold, but thankfully that night it rained. It seeped through the den, which had just a small slit in the top of it, and one hole i managed to knock out in the side, not hardly big enough for my nose. I don't know how long I was in that den... it must have been two days at least. But then, one night, i heard pawsteps outside. They broke open the den, and i was found. I was found... by the Olangsters." he said, his voice dropping at this. They had seemed to be his saviors, but they were almost anything but. He didn't meet Clover's eyes as he looked down at his paws. The name was known, and not for any good they had done.

Thunder nuzzled her "I can get myself some from the storage if need be, you eat as much as you need first" he said lovingly.

Brutus glanced over with another swift smile at her exuberance. "I do not believe we need to hunt anymore this day... what do you think?" he questioned after a moment as they padded towards the two hunters.

Clover felt her eyes soften a little and she could tell Fang was hurting. "Fang...I'm so sorry" she said, and meaning it. "I....I didn't know you had that kind of life" Clover said, licking him again. "but this pack is your home now. We're all your family, maybe not by blood, but we'll always be here for you" she said, licking him. "especially me" she promised. "I'll never leave your side" she promised. "I love you" she whispered. "Thank you for telling me your story" she said, licking him again.

Bella looked uncertain. "ok" she said, licking her mate's ear before she began eating some mroe.

"I don't think so either" Ranger said. "Duke?" he asked.

Fang looked over and her, his eyes softening and he nuzzled her, emotion shining deep in his eyes. "Thank you Clover, that means the world to me." he said softly at her admission, nuzzling her yet again. But.. his story was not complete. "Perhaps I can tell you the rest another time, I do not think I can bear to unearth those memories yet" he said, apologetically, pain flashing in his eyes.

Thunder smiled and laid his head down, content to just watch his mate and pups.

Duke looked over, tilted his head, then nodded "I think we have enough" he said in a randomly serious tone.

"of course" Clover said. "I just want to be with you" she said, as she lay down on the rock, and snuggled up against Fang as he lay down beside her. Clover smiled and blushed a little before she licked his ear again and lay her head on her paws.

Bella finished eating her hopper, and then she looked at her mate. "is something bothering you my love?" she asked

Fang nuzzled her again, laying down beside her, smiling as she licked his ear. He paused, then leaned forward and gently licked her ear as well. "You are the only dog who has ever listened to me without judging. Thank you" he said softly, emotion in his tone telling that this was a large factor of his usual walls he put up around himself.

Thunder lifted his head again at his mate's question, smiling slightly. "I was just pondering the Upright problems... from the north and the east. But I'm sure it's nothing to be concerned over" he said swiftly.
