Vervada continued chomping up her meat, looking over with curiosity as Everest got to work on the wheelbarrow. She had to admit, although slightly reluctantly as a few metal scrapes jarred her nerves, it looked like fun. Especially that bouncy wheel. "Well... I think i'll have to do that next time!" she said, having laid down to observe the fun, her meal disappeared into her stomach. And then she heard footsteps. "And now comes the consequence" she said with slight misgiving. Maybe Everest shouldn't have done that... but it still wouldn't stop her from trying next time!

Everest glanced over as Vervada spoke, but instead quickly grabbed the barrow and tried to hide it in the corner by the feed trough with a grin. Once she figured it was as hidden as she thought it would be she raced to the back of her cage and flopped down in an attempt to appear asleep. She winced slightly as the quick motion had jostled her wing but ignored it and closed her eyes. She peeked out as she saw Aria appear in the hallway with an annoyed look on her face and a guilty, familiar-looking boy trailing along behind her. Aria immediately spotted her and opened the cage door, standing there and crossing her arms. "Everest, come here now," As she spoke Everest made a big show of acting sleepy and stretched with a wide yawn before walking over with an innocent expression and rumbled happily at Aria, even rubbing her head against the stiff human. Aria gave her a disapproving look, but Everest saw a slight twitch of her mouth and could tell she was hiding a smile herself. Aria glanced over at the very much destroyed barrow and waved a finger at her. "Everest, that was very disrespectful of you," Aria scolded, "You need to start behaving, and since you clearly haven't learned your lesson no going to the community pen for a week," Aria finished with a smirk as Everest huffed at her.

Vervada looked over with a bemused expression as the ice dragon hurriedly attempted to stash the incriminating evidence... which din't really work. She continued watching as the situation played out, rumbling a slight welcome to Aria as she appeared and then smirking at Everest. "Well, the consequence seems to be harsh then. No Spike for an entire week!" she said, unable to resist teasing her friend. Although if that was the punishment... 100% worthit in her opinion.

Everest pouted slightly and sent a mock glare at her friend. It was annoying to not see Spike for a week, but not the worst punishment. She rumbled in disapproval though at Aria's smug smile as she slid a halter over her head and led her out of the pen, just a few feet away so the nervous boy could rush inside and hurriedly gather the remains of the barrow and take them away. When he left Aria led her back in the pen and took off the halter before giving her a flick on the nose as a final reproval. Everest didn't even feel it against her furry scales but still made a show of shaking her head in annoyance. As Aria left she gave her a final reproving look, "I'm serious Everest, you had better behave yourself or we won't go out flying tomorrow after the nature dragons come."

Vervada gave an undampened grin at her friends pout, watching as she was removed from her cage while the frazzled stableboy rushed in to pull out the mangled metal and disappearing quickly. "Ha as if that's a punishment" she said with a suddenly self pitying growl as the rider spoke. "At least for me that punishment has no bearing, i'm already penned in here all day anyway" she said with a sigh, running her tail over the bars with a clattering sound.

Everest sighed but gave her friend a smile in agreement. It faded to a frown at her friend's next words, and she wished she could do something to cheer her up. "Don't worry, I'm sure Daell will make sure you get to get out and do more stuff now. It will be no time before we get to all go out and fly together!" She said cheerfully, trying to lighten the mood. Even if Vervada didn't get to fly, she should surely be able to be taken out to at least exercise. Everyone knew that it was important for dragons to be able to be let out at least once a day, unless there were special circumstances.

Vervada glanced over and twitched her tail again, beginning to pace in a slightly restless manner, although she did pause at the idea of flying alongside Everest, a small shadow of a smile passing over her face. "That would be a wonderful day indeed" she agreed with a sigh, then snorted and fixed her with an unbelieving look "You know it won't be in no time at all, it certainly won't be my fault if he falls off the first time he attempts to climb on me" she said, and was unable to suppress the instinctive shudder that ran through her body at the idea. A human on a dragon... it just felt so... unnatural!
